Thanks for another interesting PCMR, Shaun. For awhile there, searching coin rolls of different denominations, I was finding quite a few coins with retained Struck through errors. They were mostly on Lincoln cents, of wire/or small staples, but a couple were on Wash. Quarters with small (non-magnitic) washers. I haven't run across anymore of those type errors, in quite a while, but I continue looking for them. Thanks, again. See ya on the next one.
I have a container full of 80's & 90's pennies that mom collected in Reno and not touched since 2000. The coins are in nice condition! Hope to find something and will check the 93's!

my dad use to buy full sheets of $1 and $2 dollar bills, he would take them down to the local coffee shop and show people,, well after he passed people would tell me all them sheets was fake, i told them no you can buy full sheets uncut and showed them shut them up real fast

Lol that 1971-D kennedy got me 🤣 I was trying to figure it out before u said what was up with it ... I was looking at the weakness in the 71 area and the adjacent area on reverse around states of, thinking about the Blakesly effect, then started wondering if that line was a raised wounded-eagle-esque die gouge coming down from the A, thought that's gotta be it .. but hey I freaking LOVE die clashes! 🥰🥰 😂

I usually stop ebay sales two weeks before Christmas, but I do make sure to list the week after and heavy for the first month of the year. Then new coins come out !!

And on the subject, defective coins also have some popularity with us, these are splits, shifts of the stamp, bites from the edge of the sheet, stamp mix-ups, and much more. There was especially a lot of marriage in the 1990s. good luck and come visit if you are interested in Russian numismatics, bonistics.

I found a 1974 s and it's looks like it doubled..it's also funny colored. I also found a 1993 penny it's super shiny and is doubled in the word one cents on back. No MM

I believe some of these trends with new quarters will have a resurgence in 5-10-20yrs & people will be paying top dollar all over again bc of the feeding frenzy thats happened. They'll be harder to find as collectors will have acquired most of them by then, and newer younger collectors are going to want all of this stuff & will pay top $ for them
I have a dollar bill I've been hanging onto due to what I thought was a solvent smear and I guess I could be but it's not green it's mostly blue and only on the front. Can a solvent smear be a shade of blue from the mint or do I have a damaged bill?

Just curious on the 1995 miss cut error, is that only for the 1995 notes that start with 99? The reason i ask is because I have several sheet that I purchased from the BEP that are 2017 uncut sheets and none of them start with 99.

I just found a 2019 with A retained cud die break I’m Guessing because it looks similar to the 2022 u showed. It on the reverse and it goes all the way across it looks to have a few breaks actually. Do I got a winner?

The above is some kind of scam so don’t contact. As to your question: the best way to get an idea what a particular error is selling for is to go on ebay and look at sold listings for that type of error and the coin’s mintage. There are a few books with price guides, but most are outdated. The Cherry Picker’s Guide that Shaun talks about is a two-volume set that covers the major errors of every coin variety. I think the latest edition was in 2015, though, so there are a lot of newer coins with errors not listed, plus new errors are found all the time on older coins. I think I’ve heard they’re working on a new edition. Shaun also talks about a book titled Strike it Rich With Pocket Change-I haven’t bought it (yet) so can’t describe. I’ve also seen a couple more books on Amazon but I haven’t heard anyone recommend them so…. Hope this helps!

If anyone in here is collecting the 1989 miss stamped pennies like the one in this video... I have one that is all full of mint errors. Too many to just start listing here. The most unique part to mine is that only I know for fact that it is a 1989. The date didn't make it to the coin but, I opened the roll of all new and shiny never touched roll of pennies. Not sure how to prove it other then a lie detector. If you wanna pay for that service I am willing. Probably cheaper to get a sworn notarized statement from me and the handful of people that heard the story for the last 30+years lol. Laughing bc I was mildly disturbed by my aging myself. Getting old. I am not gonna bother listing it currently. The coin actually is meaningful to me so I won't be selling it for the typical prices I have seen. I am somewhat flexible though. Guess I am saying it here bc it feels like the love is here for collecting not just how to get rich quick off coin sales. Say hi if you are truly interested
