Join us for a fireside chat with Sergey Nazarov, CEO of Chainlink along with Ari Juels, Professor at Cornell Tech and Chainlink Advisor. They will be discussing connected smart contracts, decentralized oracles, and Chainlink.
Ari Juels is the Weill Family Foundation and Joan and Sanford I. Weill Professor at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech in NYC and a Co-Director of the Initiative for CryptoCurrencies and Contracts (IC3). He was previously Chief Scientist of RSA, The Security Division of EMC. He is currently advisor to Chainlink.
Sergey is CEO of Chainlink, the leading blockchain middleware company, used by enterprises (SWIFT, Google, Oracle) and smart contract teams (Web3 Foundation, OpenZeppelin, OpenLaw, Hedera Hashgraph, Zilliqa, and many others). Working with leading banks, insurance companies, and large technology firms on the creation of “externally connected smart contracts”, gives him a unique perspective on what is required to bring smart contracts forward for enterprise adoption. Currently, 80%+ of smart contracts require external data feeds such as market prices, IoT events, and shipping data. These smart contracts need a secure reliable way to connect to this off-chain data, the capability Chainlink uniquely provides.
