To be fair Harley’s plan to capture Joker failed because Clayface sang happy birthday to Joker and blew their cover.
Yeah, as soon as Harley met the Joker in Arkham, her life went completely downhill. 🙁
Not really because if she didn't meet the Joker you would never have this character she has to meet the Joker in order for her character to actually be the character that you guys claim you love so much

Her life was already downhill tbh, she had abusive parents, was horribly bullied, and two of her boyfriends died on her
DC accidentally creating one of the loudest voices in pop culture for DV victims is one of my favourite butterfly effects. Harley was supposed to be a one off in one (MAYBE two) episodes of The Animated Series, but the fans loved her so much that they gave her her own story.
It's nice to see that Poison Ivy did not do anything to Harley that made the list. Although she and Harley have had their ups and downs, Ivy always had the best intentions for her. Harlivy for ever.
Having Margot Robbie being in the DCEU was the worst. She was a fantastic Harley in a dying franchise. What a waste.
She might not be out. James Gunn hasn't confirmed either way. And as Barbie is going to be the biggest hit of the year.. it wouldn't hurt to have a box office draw in his line up.
Margot Robbie needs to return for the revival of _Larrikins._
All of this could be prevented by simply not living in Gotham.
Then we wouldn’t have Harley at all.
As someone who has survived a horrifying abusive relationship with a predator ten years my senior, (assault, sexual assault, beating me when I was pregnant), Harley Quinn’s emancipation from Joker, and genuinely seeing the writers stick to her belief of not enduring treatment from someone who claims to “love” you, validated me and so many other survivors of abuse.
Especially as someone who would later come out as queer and trans. It’s so satisfying to see Harley in a happy, healthy relationship with Ivy, and I hope they never change that.

She went from a homicidal clown to a crazy Environmental terrorist. What an improvement?
I think one of my favorite worst moments is when in the comics a couple of years ago, the story "Joker Loves Harley" after The Joker uses plastic surgery and extensive teaching to send a Joker "clone" to try to win back Harley (being before the whole "Three Jokers" story was finished by the way) and he almost does but then she remembers why she left him in the first place, and he says she can't kill him, she won't kill him. She tells him she knows he's not even really The Joker and he laughs, says even if he's not, she loves The Joker too much to actually pull the trigger, and then she does. She kills him. One of the reasons I think it's so bad for her, is because the writers and artists I think really conveyed the emotion of that scene, that had he actually been the real Joker, her Joker, she would have still pulled the trigger. That it wasn't even him, that makes it worse for her.
One minor thing with #15. That was actually Harlequin and she was purposefully modeled on the New 52 version of Harley Quinn. According to Bruce Timm, he purposefully did that and had her killed off in the end to voice his disapproval of her initial New 52 redesign.
I'm Surprised that no one has mentioned the Moment when Harley was exposed to a Lethal form of Joker Venom that left her in a comatose state in The Batman Adventures issue 28.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! It is a testament to Margot Robbie's performance as Harley Quinn that she is able to capture the essence of this iconic character so brilliantly, bringing her to life in a way that is both funny and heartbreaking.

Funny how her being with the guy who was not Mr. J she thought she loved in The Suicide Squad betrayed her so bad that they ended up in a deadly fight with each other is a side note on #12 when I think it deserves it's own separate number. I was so happy the fight ended with the guy dead. Though the #1 spot definitely make sense

Even Joker is abusive AND A JERK he still loves her or he would of killed her but the reason he's crazy and abusive is because no one has ever loved him he doesn't know what it feels like but he does with harley. Also once joker was a normal comedian and got bullied so he went crazy and killed them.

I do not and will not ever feel sorry for the Villian known as Harley Quin. This list is akin to feeling bad for a drunk driver who got away with it for years killing families left and right who gets a minor injury, she deserved everything she got and more so. She is not, and never will be a hero or a Anti-hero, she is a mass murder who killed and tortured for fun, this includes children. Having a conscience later for your mass shootings, bombings, kidnapping, tortures, murders, (patricide, homicide, and pedocide) doesn't make you a hero or anti hero, it makes her human and STILL a villian, worse yet, it also means she knew better as it proves she is not a sociopath, and still chose to do it, at least sociopaths have a mental illness at the center of it.

Regarding number 11, Harley technically did nothing wrong other than petty vandalism and joyriding, but no real kidnapping, Veronica just got caught in the middle. No one in Gotham thought to send General Vreeland to the Arkham Asylum for the absolutely insane things he did in pursuit of Harley like driving a tank through the street and causing tens of thousands of property damage and reckless endangerment to his own daughter and Harley. Vreeland is obviously not mentally competent to be a figure of authority. Number 6 might be tragic, but I thought it was more tragic when Harley's new boyfriend Mason Macabre was murdered in front of her by the corrupt New York mayor.
