Great video series.
Did you wash it right after mounting, or once the mount was dry?
I had a couple of bears that had oily fur from the tannery.
I shampoo'd them this way and they turned out really nice.
Yes I did wash it right after mounting. I don’t suggest washing it after it’s dried.

Would the risk be that the skin rehydrate and separate from hide paste? The ones I washed were like 90% dry at the time. I didn't have any complications, but I kept the feet, and head as dry as possible.
@@JeanMinaudier-po4rm When the skin is dried you dont want to put moisture on it anymore.. .. I mean if you do it wont wreck it but the risk is higher than being fresh.. the older the mount gets the risk goes higher... when i wash them is right after mounting.. they are still very wet, so I just clean them up by washing.. Im not risking anything.

What kind of soap did you use for o was the Wolverine?
Dawn dish soap.
