Amazing as always, what clay are you using?
Thank you for watching. I use regular clay.
@ArtofTaxidermy oh so just normal grey air dry clay?
I thought birds of prey were protected by law?
They are.
How do you skin the face of a raven when they have so many “mustache” feathers on their nostrils?
Same way as other birds.. push the moustache aside, and skin. You always have to push away what’s blocking your access.
@@ArtofTaxidermy Thanks
Did you found a harpy eagle
I wish
Can you make a red kite
Would love to, if I could find one.
Do you use borax to preserve?
Yes.
What did you caulk and what color is the beak?
It’s acrylic caulk. The beak is black.
❤❤❤❤
I'm on the bird's full of meat, but I don't put any materials inside a bird. Is there something I'm in it, I'm a bird from inside in order to memorize it. There are no materials specific to this country. I want easy materials to get. Thank you for your beautiful reply.
Seriously I don’t understand what are you trying to say. I suggest you write it in google translator and then copy it here so I can understand what you question is.

Hi Adriana Thank you very much for your lovely message. I’m glad that you are finding the videos useful that makes me happy. I hug you back from Canada. 🇨🇦
Can you help me only with the preservative materials for birds to keep them for as long as possible, I have a shortage of this thing?
And thank you very much for your photography. I'm learning a lot of things from your long experience and your art is beautiful.
And please, the required materials are available in a simple way.🌺🌺🌺
Thanks for watching and your comment. Are you talking aboit keeping the birds before mounting or after mounting. ?

as always a nice mount in all the details congrats !
Thank you for watching.
I am struggling so much trying to get the fat off a Mallard Drake. It is almost destroyed at this point. No taxidermy possible at this point. But I am debating on whether or notnto just save the feathers and pluck them... I would rather save the hide attached. Even if there is still fat on the bird, can i Borax/cornstarch it?? It had ripped in too many places.
You need to invest in a wire wheel… it is a must for fleshing waterfowls.. and you have tried the most difficult of all the ducks by hand .. no wonder you have shredded it… you might still do it even after your 5th or 6th. Some ducks are better than others.. mallards are the worst. You need a wire wheel.
sir what kind of chemical you use for taxidami which keeps the skin dry and clean please tell me the name i need it very much
@@msgamingcentre265 I’m not sure what do you mean ? What skin are you talking about ?
What’s the stuff you use for the white residue on the claws?
It’s natural. I’m not putting them there. I just make sure not to remove them or scrape them off.
@@ArtofTaxidermy alright
A delightful mount of a precious specimen. Great job! ❤
Thanks for watching. 👍
@@ArtofTaxidermy my pleasure!
Perfect! Loved those yellow eyes. 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video, BTW what glue do you use and do you ever get drumming? Thanks
The glue I use today and I find it best is Roman 555.. which is basically a wallpaper adhesive. and if your skin is fit it won’t drum.
@@ArtofTaxidermy Thanks for the fast reply, you're the best!
Hey sir, I'm 14. I found a died bird and want to try taxidermy on it. Do i need to freeze it first?
If the bird was found fresh and not spoiled , yes you need to freeze till you have time to start working on it. If the bird was already spoiled and starting to go bad … then you’d better throw it away.
Did you wire through the radius or go to the alula? Looks nice
No.. you just card it to dry that way.
So do you just wring out the skin and get it say half dry for assembly…. then assemble and blow dry?
Pretty much … most like to blow dry first … except very large birds like Turkey I don’t see any benefit in that .. so I towel dry the bird the best I can, then mount and finally blow dry. The skin stays moist a lot more and longer this way.
😊 thank you
GAH ITS SO CUTE!!
Not 🚫 😢😢 Dis IS 😵🤨
It’s taxidermiy it’s not like the animal is still alive
❤❤❤❤
Great job 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Do u rehydrate with salt water?
Soapy water.
teks dengan kamera greetings from Indonesia 👋👋
Thanks for watching.
Why do you dont get that much likes
😁😁 I don’t know … it’s ok though. If people like it they will

Im not sure if I know what you mean ?
Bird or mammal, you're the best. Excellent work - as usual.
I just try my best... thats a very big compliment and I appreciate that.
Can you please make a red kite
@@hassanhasjie3289 that’s a dream bird for me too, we don’t have red kite here.
Do you show in detail fleshing the geese in the membership section
Hi Scott.. not on this particular mount,, I explain how to carve your own body and how to mount from start to finish but the skin is already prepped in the past becasue my assitant has done it.. However in the newer tutorials I will be showing the skining and fleshing and all of that (already started on the Raptors Taxidermy).. just because a lot of requests was coming in. However I had already posted videos similar to that which is on a Black duck..czcams.com/video/A-cRufL_ghI/video.html&ab_channel=ArtofTaxidermy
Bro you make the best art keep it up❤❤
Thank you so much 😀

Wow 😮😮😮😮😮
خسته نباشی واقعا جالبه
Pronghorn have almost zero white on their eyes unless it is EXTREME rotation. Additionally, I do not think they can physiologically move their eyes independently like deer and horses can. It's just something to think about. Otherwise, beautiful work!
Thanks for watching , I agree… but you know customer is always right 😉… if they ask for something I’ll throw in my opinion but if they insist , I’ll do. … thanks for sharing your knowledge on here anyway. 👍
I thought it was illegal to own
It is in the States.. but not in Canada. its permitted here.
Do you have to clean them with something before painting to prevent the paint from flaking off or peeling
Not really.. and I’ve never had that happening. Acrylic paints are so hard to remove once they are dried , it’s unreal.
reading your question again... I think I didnt answer accurately... well the feet are washed really good and dried, ,, and when they are injected the residue will be washed off ,, and by the time we spray the paint on them .. they are very clean.. (if thats what you meant).
