To be friend a wolverine, you must first make yourself sound like an idiot. That way the wolverine will basically make you his bitch.
Yep. That is how it works haha. But then wolverines, along with bears, are some of the most aggressive animals in North America alone. So yeah, I'm perfectly fine with being numerous dos with something that beautiful but deadly.
The Wolverines are comfortable with high pitched voices, as sounds like Wolverine sounds. He was trying to build a bond and gain Jasper's trust hence he needed to speak in Jasper's language which is higher pitched noises. Love animals so intelligent, and emotional.
So as long as one uses a high pitch voice the wolverine can understand him?
looks like a bear mixed with a dog, beautiful animal
Petit Louis Wolverines are distant relatives of the bears.
Ernesto Tani wolverines are the largest member of the Mustelidae family...the weasels.
Ernesto Tani wrong
+Shawn Swigart No, he's actually right.
+JarAxe they're a member of the weasel family.
That 'comfort tone' sounds like a goose on helium.
I had no idea it was possible to interact with Wolverines on this level. It goes to show how little we know about some species of wildlife.
+Sock ThePuppet To be fair, he raised this one from birth (his mother, who Steve also raised from birth, died)
That makes sense..
Sock ThePuppet Steve is a wildlife rehabilitator who specializes in wolverines; he's the only private individual to breed wolverines.
They have similar personalitys as honey badgers. Inpredictable but not completly agressive, just dont disturb a tamed one and he wont mind you
Wolverines are actually good parents so you can Imagine they form family bonds
People saying that Casey is stupid for making the voice, you're the real idiot. The guy even said to Casey that Jasper will respons better to a more high pitched friendly sounding voice, as most intellectual animals (like us) do.
It is true, dogs respond better to these types of voices as well.
+Pyrochyde Ferrets too (tiny relatives of this animal)
idk that anyone said he's stupid I think they think it's funny
I read cats prefer high pitch voices
"Hey Jasper buddy, what are you seeing?"
Jasper: "Well a 8ft 700lbs Sasquatch just flanked us for starters."
Narrator- Hi Buddy!!! Hiii! What do you think???
Wolverine- I was not planning on harming you friend but your new voice now leaves me no choice..
lmaoo
LOOOL
never though you could domesticate such a animal as the wolverine. Jasper is a fascinating animal, truly a worthy companion to one who could earn his trust.
Not domesticated, just trained because of the fact he was hand-raised (mother died)
He’s your typical example of an animal ambassador
You can't domesticate those animals. That's a fallacy.
@@ohioexpax1592not without many generations of breeding to get the ones that are least aggressive towards humanity.
Wolverines are awesome animals, will have a go at anything.
The depth of devotion to this beautiful creature that Steve has. Such elation. Thank you Steve for all your hard work 24 7 we notice. Keep on keeping on.
What a gorgeous animal! I've raised ferrets for years and would love one of these! No, not joking - I've always been the nut with the crazy animals lol!
What a beautiful creature. It's like a weasel that's evolved to fill a niche similar to a bear.
They are in the weasel family. Mustelids are animals like Weasels, Wolverines, Honey Badgers, and Otters.
And Bears, Mustelids, and Dogs all fall into the Caniform suborder which just means dog-like carnivores. So to simplify it, it’s a smol doggo
It goes to show you that with enough training and trust, a Wolverine can definitely soften up
looks like a miniature bear.
Definitely dangerous as one
Bears and Mustelids (basically what wolverines, otters, and badgers are) are related.
@@jesuspernia8031 No they're not! All this "everything's related" is nothing but a bunch of Satanic Marxism. Karl Marx took Friedrich Nietzsche's Nietzscheism (Atheism) and Charles Darwin's Darwinism (i.e. Macro-Evolution) and combined them into his Communist Manifesto. It's a bunch of nonsense. Just because a bunch of different kinds of animals resemble each other does not mean they are all literally related. Maybe, just maybe, we all have a common Creator who made everything to live in a common environment, therefore, with variations on a theme will certainly cause many to look very similar. Enough of this Marxist Evil, please!
A little bit
Almost a DEADLY as a 🐻 BEAR
Jasper sized up this nervous human animal and decided no threat so lets be friends.
Jasper is beautiful! I mean, he could also be super fucking dangerous, but beautiful.
That little thing dangerous🤣🤣🤣🤣, more like a softie that can be stomped to death
That was just...adorable! 😊
Ever since reading the marvel comic series "All-New Wolverine" and reading about Gabby's pet wolverine, Jonathan I have grown to love these animals!
What a beautiful animal to think that somethings so dangerous in the wild could be so sweet and loving when raised by a human truly amazing👍🏼🤩❤️
shouldn't they have named it Logan?
Or James Howlett
That or Hugh Jackson. lol
Excuse me I'm Eric lensher, Charles Xavier
Go fuck yourself
logan the wolverine
I was waiting for someone to crack that joke! Funny thing is that I am hear after reading some of the "All-New Wolverine" series which in it, one of Logan's kids (actually a female clone who was cloned from a woman named Laura who is a clone of Logan, confusing I know!) named Gabby has a pet Wolverine named "Jonathan" who is super cute and adorable!
What a beautiful animal, thanks for sharing.
that is one powerful and beautiful animal!!
its like a ferret-badger-raccoon
They’re basically giant ferrets
Doggish/bearish too
Cool video. I like the fact that the steve (assuming steve k) clearly shows hes not the 'owner' of the wolverine. But sinply a caretaker.
He understands the natural behavior, and encourages the guest to engage in what a wolverine would consider unthreatening behavior.
Then, he lets the wolverine walk him, and show him the things he wants to go do as the animal.
Huge respect for the animal, huge desire to enrich the animals life instead of only his own, and a huge respect to the threat a wild animal poses to individuals who just see soft fur akin to a dog.
Also cool presenter not being a wimp, or pushing for more footage or anything cheesy.
That wolverine is beautiful.
changed my mind about wolverines, such intelligence, but still wild
It's so freaking cute I almost wouldn't mind the fact that it could maul me to death in an instant!
Well I really would not raise my voice or try to be the dominant type with Jasper. That would be a very big mistake and both of those gentlemen know that.
Very very cool video showing a different side of this ferocious animal.
Definitely a better place to get along than on then taking it to a dog park lol.
One other thought came to mind is imagine if you have this animal as even a part time inside pet and someone breaks into your house.
Cute and majestic wolverine... with a man in the green jacket uttering one of the most annoying cooing voices.
Pro trick : you can watch movies on flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
@Abdiel Ernesto Definitely, I have been using Flixzone for years myself :)
@Abdiel Ernesto definitely, have been using Flixzone for years myself :)
@Abdiel Ernesto yea, been using Flixzone for years myself :)
@@abdielernesto9051 Did you honestly make 3 other accounts, to verify ur own scam?
What a baby, I love Jasper.
He's gorgeous!
Now i imagine a villain sweettalking his way to Wolverine in a high-pitched voice
This doggo is smol, but you don't wanna get on its angry side.
What a magnificent animal!!!
what a gorgeous animal it is
Beautiful little critter.
That's beautiful and smart animal
Something I wonder about wolverines... Well, mustelidae often have a tendency to do the weasel war dance, where they basically throw themselves around.
Being the largest member of that family, does a wolverine ever use such tactics? Lol
Largest land mustelid but second largest mustelid after the sea otter
such a beautiful animal , seeing one the in wild was so special
Saying hi two jasper
@@Craignelson-cq6vx wut
So glad to learn that my natural high pitched voice will come in handy should i ever meet a wolverine, lol.
Unreal that these animals can kill grizzly bears, so small and funny looking but ferocious AF.
Awesome video. What a beautiful animal !!
The nice, simple music and slow motion shots don't take my attention away from how funny the silly voices were. LOL oh well as long as they work, that's what counts
Steve needs to have his own channel and do more with the wolverines for us.
That documentary of his that came out in 2008? I think was amazing. I see pieces of it all I’ve YT but no the whole thing.
WE NEED MORE WOLVERINES.
WE NEED MORE MUSTELIDAE!
So this cuddly, skittish, beautiful creature is the basis for one of the most ferocious superheroes in history?
this is so awesome,,,
Beautiful animal
Little rogue faced moochies :p I want one too.
after finding out about this i completely agree!
Jasper is so beautiful!
beautiful animal
Ohh, main God! I love this animal. ♥

Beautiful baby 🙏
i like jasper he kicks ass!! :)
At 1:37 it looks like things could've gotten ugly. Look at the wolverines body language when the new guy stands up and walks toward him.
yes it is
I wonder if Jasper is still alive. Love my Chasing the Phantom DVD.
Cutest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, you said it ! LOL!
That would be an awesome pet
Steve is the real life Dr. Doolittle!
Jasper is a beautiful wolverine
Canadians are so nice, they befriend wolverines.

never underestimate the wolverine[animal] lurking in the north woods!
awh
Too bad Sabretooth never tried talking to Wolverine in that voice, they could've been great friends.
Jasper will make everyone going to be chipmunk
My theriotype! Glad he didn't kill the dude.
i wana meet jasper!!!!!!
He is one nice anma
А если отпустить,уйдёт или нет? Обожаю её,завидую👍👍👍
What a magnificent creature...not sure about the being a pet part....but a magcreature none the less.
To have a wolverine as a guard and anyone behaves threatening towards ya and the wolverine will slice and dice them!
A wolverine can kill a bear! Hell yeah that would be awesome.
Steveven Steve
True both wolves and bears keep away from this fella!
It looks so small and friendly too!
Steveven Steve
Exactly it looks very cute but it is for its size the most dangerous predator (EVEN to other predators)!
I'm the best there is at what I do
I used to think having a pet raccoon would be cool. Now I want a wolverine!
Raccoons would genuinely make good pets no kidding. A Wolverine though… might wanna keep him outside
My Dad used to say "playing with wolverines is lots of fun till someone loses eye"
can u imagine if the wolverine actually just feel like.... wtf is wrong with these humans why they making that sound? xD
Cute
Think what you could do if you trained a Wolverine to be a hunting companion. You’d never need a dog again. Lol
Would make a perfect mascot for a football team
I WANT A WOLVERINE!!!
