    Chris has been a big help with all of my newest Audeze headphones including the beta Bluetooth he let me try it for the new Maxwells Headphones in late fall.

      It’s been real neat getting to know them. Fortunately, I had a chance to visit their offices in Southern California. Seriously, undeniable quality.

      @@DolbyAtmosMixing Yeah, I need to get down there to visit, but glad you were able to. Jeff Komar and I did a zoom and got some additional things setup here for the MTRX II and TB3 and the new internal Renderer. I also got Audiomovers Binaural monitoring setup for now for being able to monitor with AirPods in ProTools playback vial Bluetooth as well as the Maxwells. Even the MM-100's are really a nice headphone. I was surprised! Looking forward to the updates hopefully in March with the Live Re-renders etc. Thanks for the demo. Taking some time off for a week or so.

      @@DolbyAtmosMixing Not planning it now. Had a stem cell procedure on my knee. Doing fine, but no travel for now and have work coming in that was delayed. When and where?

      @@DolbyAtmosMixing BTW I did work on the immersive mix for a Yo Yo Ma record last fall that was submitted for a Grammy. That was fun! It was a rush, but they loved my input for the project. It was released in mid Sept 2023 as a Dolby Atmos version.

    how well does it translate to the headphones? My studio ones just keep sounding Left and Right

      Hi Carlos, I’m using the MM 500 and doing substantial testing to ensure my mixes translate from headphones to speakers. It’s not an automatic thing and takes training, but I believe it can be achieved.

    We use heat all the time , but don’t use it to mix tracks that were done with heat on someone else’s session that were transferred to you

    • @DolbyAtmosMixing
      @DolbyAtmosMixing  Před 6 měsíci

      It doesn’t always work for me. Sometimes he can make the mix sound muddy. But HEAT is a good option to quickly check whether it works or not.
