This is a great video. I just did my headlamp assemblies on both sides. Other videos didn’t remove the cowling, but I found it was easier for just another 10 mins it took to remove it. 100% recommend
Very good instruction! Used this on my '96 f150. I was surprised how fast it was to remove the grill and cowl and how much easier that made the whole job.
i know this is a bit older, but it just saved me from pulling my hair out, lol. i just bought a '96 and changed out the headlights using your video, thanks man!

Just bought a 1994 Ford F150 and the passenger side headlight assembly is loose, so this video is a big help on getting it fixed right, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the help! Great tip to remove the entire front! I used a tip from somewhere else on the web and set the nuts into the deep socket with a piece of paper towel - kept them in place until the threads started.
Excellent video. Now we must collectively publicly flog the people who made it necessary to dismantle the entire front of the truck just to replace a headlight...
Is anyone making LED bulbs for these years Fords 150's ? This looks like a good Idea , my old eyes need all the help they can get. Thanks for the video .
Exactly the info I was looking for as I’m ready to do this to my ‘95 F250. The other vid I found about this by some kid was pretty useless whereas yours was excellent.
Did mine today. Not too bad. One thing to watch out for is I had two bolts unscrew from the light housing instead of the nut unscrewing. If that happens to you, just keep unscrewing it. You can fix everything back to normal after you get it off.

I’m in the process of replacing my headlights on my 1992 Ford F-150. When you do this save yourself some time by ordering extra headlight retaining clips beforehand. Several of mine broke and now I’m waiting on them.
Make sure the oring on the bulb is in good shape and the bulb is installed tight. Other than that, it’s the quality of the construction of the housing.

I mean just a simple fact that you have to use snap ring pliers just to take out the headlight.. fix or repair daily
Don’t forget the GM cars that you had to remove the hood to get a distributor out 😂
So after watching this, maybe easier to get a New Truck.
