- the fix is: go to play store in Android or appstore in iphone and download the xbox app then login in the app using your xbox account and then go to your xbox console settings and navigate to "devices & connections" and choose "remote features" and then check/choose/enable the box that says "enable remote features" and after that return to the app and click on the console icon on the top right corner and choose "manage console & games" but if that didn't work then choose "set up a console" and after setting-up your console choose "manage console & games" and then click the "my games and apps" icon which is on the bottom of the screen next to your profile picture icon and then download the game you want.

I bought gta online starter pack while I already have the base game. When I go to install it on my xbox series s I have this issue. I tried to install it on the xbox app but I can only see games and not add ons. What do I do?
i don't know an exact solution for this particular problem, however you can try searching for the specific add-on on the xbox app, and install it from the app

I'm sorry that it did not work for you, i guess in the end you can try one more thing, go to your browser in Chrome (in your pc/computer) and open xbox website, login with your xbox account, search for the specific thing that you wanna download, and when you find it, it will show that you can install it on your xbox console from your pc. if this method also doesn't work, then i think you should contact support, get a refund

Did that exactly the same and the download never starts, because the console knows that my game was installed via a disc

I had this same problem and as of writing this i fixed it 2 seconds ago for some reason i couldnt get it to install on disc so i bought it from the store to see if it would work and was still haveing the same issue after trying to get it to work a few times i found it in the store and hit manage and for some reason it was trying to only install the addons i already had installed so I just selected the actual game and it worked (this is assuming you have addons on said game) but its worth a try I hope it works for you!

maybe this will work for you, try to search for the specific game in the mobile app, and then install it, rather than going to your "my games and apps section"
I didn’t work I’m trying to install gta v premium edition and it still says trouble finding your stuff I went on the app and it didn’t work any suggestions
if the app Method didn't work, then i think, you can try opening Microsoft xbox website in your computer, and login to your xbox account in the computer, then go find the the game you want to install on your xbox (by searching for it in the computer internet browser) and then install it (if i remember the website will show you that you can install the game from your browser (in your computer) to your xbox consol
summary: open the browser in ur computer and go to xbox website and login with your xbox account and search the game and download it from there (choose download to your preferred console)

Does this download all the downloadable content?
it should, for example: if you purchased the deluxe or gold/ultimate edition of the game, then once you find it (using the method in the video) and hitting install, should download all the add-ons and downloadable content for your game, but if it didn't work then you should search for every downloadable dlc/add-on and download it manually (using the same method). if non worked for you, then I'm sorry.

Hello sorry for the late response but how did it not work for you? If you just download the games through your phone using xbox app it will be downloaded to your xbox easily. So please tell why it did not work for you?

First i think your phone and your xbox must be connected to the same wifi network and then login in phone and xbox with the same Microsoft xbox account and then you can easily add the console. For further information look in the description below the video or just search youtube for solution

try the method for add-ons. If it doesn't work, then you can try opening the xbox website from pc or phone, then loging in with ur xbox account and find the add-on that you want. From there, you can select your console to download it to, and download it. if this doesn't work, then I'm sorry. maybe try factory reset your console/format your consol or straight up contact xbox live chat/support
