How to Fix Xbox One Do you own this game or App Error (Easy Method)

- Do you want to know how to fix the "Do you own this game or app?" or "Eject the Disc and Try Again" Xbox One Errors??? These errors on the xbox one cause your disc or downloaded games not to start. There are a few different methods you can try to fix this problem. First download the blu ray player app from the microsoft store on the xbox one. Next go to settings, devices and streaming, blu ray and clear the persistent storage.
Then go to general, advance settings, alternate mac address and clear the mac address. Restart your xbox one and see if you can start your game or app. If not, clear the cache on the xbox one by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. When the xbox one is off, wait 30 seconds before turning it back on.

Ok, a little explanation of why I was ecstatic to come accross this video... I'm an older chic, 40's, I don't and havent played games (ever since Nintendo and the sega generation) lol, but my sister and her friend play, (both intellectually challenged and don't understand patience and following along.)
I bought my sister the Saint Row remastered game for her Bday and we've been trying to get it to install on the console for days now and were unsuccessful, you know how it is with women who aren't game tech savvy.
A friend of mine said to try CZcams, her kids go to it for everything.
I did, about 20 minutes ago I came across this video, watched and then re-watched by following along step by step and now they're able to play without any interruptions or game stopping & showing (installation incomplete).

The reset mac address also helps with issue of app saying "owned" in the Microsoft Store. THANKS!

I've did everything. It didn't work. I did reset the console like you said, even pressed the "Keep my games" but I've lost 40 of my games. I've grinded so hard on those games. It's not your fault, it's randomly removed my games.

Honestly what works is in question. But I know if you unplug your console for 15 seconds or more (unplug power from behind console) the system will recognize your game and let you play it. Downside it will eventually say you don't own it again just rinse an repeat!
