We applied I-130 for my wife for Green Card processing. She never had a US Visa earlier and has not entered the US till now. If we apply for a Visitor Visa now, since the wait is too long, is there a risk of getting rejected or will it affect the green card processing ? Also, can we request for expedited processing for reasons other than humanitarian emergency or severe financial loss ? Like we got married late and emotionally it is getting difficult for both of us to live separately.

I am an aslyee based green card holder. Just welcome my follow-to-joint daughter who arrived june 7th in the USA. However i have a question. I would like to know as a follow-to-join asylee ( My daughter), will she have to wait for 1 year as well before applying for her green card? Or because iam the principal and already have my aslee based green card, her green card application can be file right now upon arrival to the USA?
