which version of centos is this ?
Could you let me know the hardware resources which you are allocated to the virtual machine to install open stack on top of it and centOS version?
You can use 6 GB, more than 2 VCPu, and more than 30 GB of space.

Yes, you need to have enough resource for it. The documentation is there in openstack page, may be not straight forward.
