Dami hasn't been blonde during a comeback before but has been blonde in-between them. She's been really pretty AND powerful during this era. 🥰 The member whose name you can't remember is Handong. She was absent during the era where Dreamcatcher got more popular and looks a bit like JiU and Yoohyeon combined so people have a hard time remembering her face. Handong has an interesting vocal tone though and sang the most famous line in any Dreamcatcher song: "Oh now, I'm holding this pain...". 😂
the member you can never remember is handong. she's a pretty stable vocalist, but she is KILLING it dance wise as of late. i noticed during the vision dance practice and couldn't stop watching her! she's definitely understated compared to sua, but the power is there! i hope she gets more opportunities to show it off in future comebacks

that arm choreo during handong's part is sickening lol one of the highlights from the dance and I love that they referenced Yoohyeon's iconic "drop thunder" choreo from Boca on her "thunder" line here too. It's so good!!!!
Im loving this. Im not really into DC that much, but ima have to get into them after this.😊 the rock elements are EVERYTHING!! The electric guitar is so powerfully moving in a way?😅 it sounds like it belongs in like action movies😀
The thunder part is a reference to Boca, they use the same formation and movement as that choreography as a nod to the fans. The main choreographer is the back up dancer with the redish hair btw, Hwang Sooyeon

"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things).
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way.
So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!

it's funny you mentioned ateez because dreamcatcher and them share producers! leez, ollounder, and maddox are the ones who produced vision and they are all a part of edenary(ateez's producing team)/KQ (ateez's entertainment company)! i will mention though that leez recently signed w a new company and it's uncertain whether or not his new contract will allow him to keep producing for ateez and dc. nevertheless, they all always create phenomenal music.
