I just want to say that I love all the work you’ve done so far and think that you’re very talented and I enjoy each of these devlogs
The particle effect is great for the rolling, but for the running it indicates too much speed. It's as if a weak punch in a movie creates a huge boom. Or you gently push your sibling and they act like you just tried to murder them.

I hate it, I would much rather spend 20 hours trying to create a pathfinding script instead of using an optimised unity feature.

The quality of these videos are nuts. How awesome is it that not only is he able to effectively demonstrate such crazy coding abilities, but he's also got genuinely solid comedic chops.

Hey I just found this set of devlogs today, and I just wanna say I hope I can learn from you. I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but I’ve dreamt of making a game for 5-6 years now, and I’m working on going to college for it, but watching these shows me I might be able to make my dream come true myself~ so thanks so much for showing all this off, it was literally exactly what I needed! I still don’t exactly know how to go about it but now I know it is possible. Though I wish I could get some experience helping with something like this, I don’t have any experience at all and barely any knowledge of it from college. Good luck and I can’t wait to see what becomes of it! I’ll be watching!
Also, new update on my comment on the last video, I’m learning (or at least trying to learn) unity because of these videos here, showing that making a game you’ve dreamed of is possible!
Also I plan to play this game when you’re fully done with it so please don’t show us all the hidden lore and Easter eggs! :3
great project man, I follow lots of indie projects but your prioritizes what I connect most too in great games as a gamer. Wonderful animation and expressive 'analog' movement. Great direction. I wish you all the succcess and support to see this project through as I believe it could be something truly special. What is your background other than the other game you made as it seems you have tons of polish and a healthy work ethic / planning ability that sets you up for success on your projects.
PS. In your Devlog 3 you were asking for challenges, not sure if youre still into it but you should do the POUNDLAND Challenge: Go to poundland with 20 quid, buy as MUCH food and drink as possible (quantity over anything else), finally see if you can finish it all in 30 mins. Cheers

I'm always so happy to see progress on this project! To be completely honest though, I really liked that the game did not have that "default unity shine" when you switched to URP, but that's probably something for the far future anyways.

I have an idea. There could be like a glitch that happens after every bossfight, where you go back to the main city, and the boss no longer is evil, or ever has been. Lime, the timeline changes after every boss battle

The menu looks so clean! Also I just realised that translating multiple words and translating them to 10 different languages is so hard, I'm amazed of all your hard work for this game...I hope when the development is over, a lot of people will buy your game...you just deserve it

i’ve done the exact same thing with my camera controller, i know how it feels. you work on it for days trying to get it right and then you realize you’ve just been reinventing the wheel and cinemachine has had literally everything you will ever need all along right out of the box. i don’t even know if i love or hate that package, it’s almost too useful lol

It's so exciting to watch this game evolve with every devlog!
Idea for the character switching feature: You can put like markings or microchips on 3 other entities at once and by pressing a button on your keyboard or controller you switch to the next character in order of how you marked/chipped them. This could be a really cool puzzle mechanic. But it's also something that should be unlocked late in the game.
