It really bugs me that for some reason all the Besz in the show speak English and have signs written in actual English and the Ul-Qomans use the Georgian script when Besz is supposed to be written in an alphabet that looks like Cyrillic and its the Ul-Qomans who use the Latin script.
yeah but i see why they did it. the protagonist is besz and the story focuses on beszel quite a bit so if they want to make it most accessible then they gotta swap the writing systems
