The beauty of Iron Maiden's music is that every song is a story and a journey into history, myths, and legendary tales. It's music that will transport your mind into the battle fields of the Crimean War at the Battle of balaclava, or put you in the cockpit of a Spitfire during the battle of Britain, or on the plains of the old west when Indians fought to save their lands and culture. Their music will transport you to ancient Egypt, or place you on the deck of a cursed ship. Every song is an amazing journey that can place you in that moment in time. It's the best ride in the world, and the best show you'll ever see. Iron Maiden is thee greatest band in the world. Hope you continue this journey into their music and truly see and feel the experience of being transported into the song and the story it tells. UP THE IRONS!!đ€đ€đŹđ§

Yup. Bruce's songs are his and his alone, but so are Paul's (exception of the song Iron Maiden). In addition, the tempo of the earlier live and recorded versions with Burr's drumming are superior.
Thank you thank you thank you!! I've followed maiden since a kid, (I'm 50 now) and for the last few months I've had this tune in my head, but for the many many maiden songs there are I just couldn't think what song the tune was from... So when I saw your video tonight... Bingo!!!! Lolol thank you!

I've seen Maiden live 8 times now. Look at the crowd reaction and participation. Maiden fans are loyal and they sing along and you can tell how much they love this fucking band. It's always been that way at all the shows I've seen them play except the one show I saw with Blaze Bayley singing instead of Bruce Dickinson. But Bruce returned in 2000 and it was right back to this level of fan love. Their live shows are simply a force of nature. Awesome and amazing. These motherfuckers are in their 60s and pushing into their 70s. They still kill it live.

Yep I always thought he was a better vocalist, but was a fucking prick so the band got rid of him.
The live versions with Paul Di'Anno are much better! Iron Maiden had always been better live!
The old versions are better because their drummer back turn was smashing and the whole band cant keep up with this tempo these days
Even after all these years I still hear Paul's voice when they play this song.
