    Noticed you chopped the sample using the Maschine "copy pad" method. There's a faster way to do the same thing! Press (and keep pressing) copy, hit the pad you want to copy, next hit the pad you want to copy to and then release the copy button. It's slightly faster because you don't need to use the touchscreen!

      Nice.. Always a good thing if the touch screen is used less imo. Thanks for the tip :) Will use it.

    I'm curios to why you don't use the lazy chop feature. great stuff per usual. glad to see another video.

    • @Brenky86
      @Brenky86  Před rokem

      idk haha, I guess i like to take it slow and just go through it myself :)

    • @DarrinNoNAME
      @DarrinNoNAME Před rokem +2

      @@Brenky86 You could still take it slow. You basically just add the chop where you'd like your next sample to start and then you could export it as a non-destructive chop Drum Program. It basically automates what you're already doing but saving you the memory by just using one sample

    • @mb2776
      @mb2776 Před rokem

      @@DarrinNoNAME I'm new to the mpc and I just discovered this copy sample method. I always use chops to slice my sample and then create a new non destructive drum programm.
      is there any benefit of the copy pad method compared to using the chop feature?

    • @DarrinNoNAME
      @DarrinNoNAME Před rokem +1

      @@mb2776 honestly no. The copy method actually uses more memory because you're creating more copies of the sample. However, non-destructive slice uses one sample but the slices are considered markers..Hope that makes sense?

    • @mb2776
      @mb2776 Před rokem

      @@DarrinNoNAME yeah, I was wondering why not just use chop to create a drum programm with pad parameters. Guess I was right xD
