- Trying to explain my workflow on the mpc live a little bit more for making lofi hiphop ish beats.
I've been thinking a lot about talking in my video's and I finally found the motivation to give it a real try. I hope it was entertaining enough :)

This was a difficult video to make and upload. I hope it isn't too far from the usual stuff :) Any advice or tips are always welcome^^
I think it's dope. Because Honestly, understanding how others use the MPC helps me discover more ways I can use mine. I like the breakdown, Behind the Scenes look into your work. Your way of chopping is similar to how some would use Serato Sample. I never really thought to copy a sample from one pad to another. I was just using lazy chop but this is more flexible. Thanks for sharing.
@@DarrinNoNAME I'm not a MPC user.
Video was fine.
if yall chop and save as new sample instead of drum program, when you go to program edit it will give you the key of each chop which will help you make sure your bassline is in key or at least getting a closer idea of what in key sounds like
To get that wobble/flutter effect, you can play with the pitch envelop of the sample in the LFO section in program editor.
Cool, I will give it a go and see :)
Just getting into MPC workflow and found this super helpful. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
Which MPC do you have? 👀
Brenky!! Keep up these types of videos. There is definitely a CZcams market out there for beat making videos, you’ll definitely keep finding more and more success from it. It’s good for ur fans to see what’s behind the scenes and for fellow producers to pick up pointers and to network with each other. Appreciate your work!
I like to see others perspective on workflow especially lofi the video was not to long loved it
I got some MPC Live II workflow vids on my channel, you should sub & check me out sometime! 🙏🏾
I've had an mpc for a while.
Still learning workflow.
This video was super chill, enjoyable and I learned a lot.
Going to watch more of your videos now. I hope you do more like this one.
Thank you!
What MPC do you have? 👀
This is mad cool. Love the cinematic shots too
Nice Workflow. I'll have to rewatch when I'm in front of my MPC & try out those FX you use.
Super cool video! It's very refreshing to see other people's workflow with the MPC. I always learn something new. The new update made a lot of things way better. But I wish they improved the browser a bit more. Do your thing with the videos. I would watch a 3 hour version, but I'm a nerd LOL PS: Nice to see that the Chiquita Mac is still alive!
Thanks dude :) yeah I love the mpc live, but it sure does has it's flaws as well. Coming from maschine some things are just a bit clunky ^^ And for sure, I'm gonna use this mac as long as I can haha. Only using it for watching youtube n stuff, no need to upgrade.
your music heals me
I dig it, really enjoy your sound. It's nice to see your process. Thanks bro!!
"I Like It!!!"
Just subscribed my friend, that was dope!!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Great video!
Great workflow and Sweet track
Beautiful stuff man
I'm kinda lazy most of the time with sample bassed beats, most of the time I just find a good sample and loop 3 bars and then play 3rd loop out to 4th bar.
great vid man, keep it up!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video! Thank you for sharing your workflow with the public and putting in the extra work! Seeing that you dig for samples on Spotify, I was wondering, if and how you make sure that you don't get in trouble. Do you ensure it is royalty free? Or are you simply not publishing the finished beat?
I dont clear it and just upload it :) Sometimes a video will get a copyright claim, but thats usually from my intro's where I play a bigger part of the full sample. If you chop a sample or know where to find lesser known samples, you're usually in the clear ^^
Noice!
AVE MPC !
the most important ...what effect or pluggin do you use on your drum ? because your snare is very punchy.
Thanks Bro
What bass do you use ? Love your work
In my opinion the hats are the most important thing in the drum line or maybe in the whole beat. If they swing af the beata swing af.
Na it's the loop being in tune with the right base line and adding your own sounds to enhance the samples.
@@HOLLASOUNDS @msnthrp you both are correct! 💯
@@stanleyipkuss You ever used Reason DAW?
@@HOLLASOUNDS Yes, I still use it occasionally. It is one of my favorite DAWs!
Hoor dat je waarschijnlijk nederlands ben. Heb je tips voor iemand die net paar maanden bezigbis ? Wil namelijk een lofi beat maken
hi, what is the name of the bass you use?
How "cool" is it to stick the pinky apple stickers on a macbook?
What’s that talkbox plug-in please? Who makes it etc or a link if poss
Air Talk Box comes with the MPC Software. It is an AIR Plug-In. If you have the Latest MPC Software it is under Harmonic, Air Music Technology, Air Talk Box.
Its a plugin on the mpc itself :) A software version (VST) is also available apparently ^^ (Thanks Joey for the extra info :)
Why the blur though?
You retired the mk3 maschine?
Maybe not forever, but for now im more into standalone stuff :)

@@Brenky86 Standalone is the way to go! 💯
You like apples a lot, don't you^^
I'm a loyal Pink Lady fan, yes. Although lateley they've been slacking a little. Not the same juiceyness anymore. Might have to change brands. Not sure yet.
:>
@@Brenky86 pink lady's were my favorite apple! I agree they have been slacking. I've completely switched sides these days though and eat way more pears than apples
you have your "forward & backwards" terms backward lol
