  • Listen to one of the most beautiful and most famous aria's from Jephtha, sung by Richard Croft as Jephtha.
Händel's Jephtha tells the biblical story of a commander-in-chief who had to sacrifice his daughter because of a rash promise he made to God. Who will save her? bit.ly/ytJephtha

As usual in Haendel's arias, the more the melodic line seems "easy", the more it is hard to be sung. This performance is wonderful.
