This was a
Digestible breakdown with absolute clarity and reinforced examples. Starting at 3:21 it was incredible to watch how curious questions were able to dig deep and open the door in a focused way. It allowed the client to be seen, be vulnerable, and feel safe. She was being seen and cared for at the same time. Absolutely INCREDIBLE. Thank you!
1) creating the space:
introduction, make client feel comfortable
"how can i help?"
empathy first
2) go deep like therapy
3) identify and break patterns
- use I statements
- it's okay to challenge the client
4) followup, keep client accountable
Great summary, Austin! Thanks for sharing :)
Rip-off.
I love how she leads her through to her own awareness 😍

I agree to break the client's pattern in the conversation. They will be grateful to the coach for doing that.
:)
I like that, moving from the wound and the need, to giving that gift of being seen to someone else.

Yes yes yes being an empath who can read people ..understand people .. and know their soul intention and having a solution I need to be doing this
Might coaching be your calling, Tara? Find out everything you need to know in our channel ❤
It is great see how a gifted coaching professional like Christine is able to handle the emotional needs of the coached and, take her into childhood bullying moments and then brings her back to presence and show her how to work those emotions in order not to let then affect her any more in her coaching activities or any other activities. Added value points in the way Ajij explains all parts and what's happening in the entire coaching session.
I am a new life coach who started doing one on one coaching session since some months only! So happy to find these videos. I also like the commentary in between the session by Ajit breaking down stuff and reminding the main message. So happy to discover Evercoach by Mindvalley.

Yes she did it with ease. I love those moments. That lightbulb out of the darkness.
Thank you for sharing, Rachel! :)
This is great to see how she works as a coach and how the session takes shape. However, and this is just a perception. It seems to me that it would be better to see this Raw, with someone who is not a coach themselves or training to be a coach. Then we can see how the session takes shape and how the coaching is done. Someone who is training to be a coach or is a coach will have familiarity, but someone who is not will be raw and it will take some deep work and intuiting to work with that person. I think that is a beneficial example to break down. Again this is only my perception, but great video lesson.
Thanks for the insight! This live coaching sessions was done at our Evercoach Summit event, specifically designed for coaches. We also have other videos breaking down coaching sessions with non-coach guests if you want to check them out :) We appreciate your suggestions.

Really appreciate your input very useful information. The coaching session it self was not my cup of tea but it’s good to see other people coach and take away what is useful to you as a coach in your session.
That's exactly the best approach to learning, Grace! Great insight ❤
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing. 😎👍🏾
Glad you enjoyed it, Totallysam! :)
Thank you for this breakdown of such a powerful coaching session!
I love the use of unfinished sentences using their words to take the session deeper. It is a great way to unlock what is below the surface.
I love using action steps in my practice so they can embody the new patterns & mindsets!
Yes, great techniques, Anitra! The simplest ones are sometimes the most powerful. Thanks for sharing :)
@@mindvalleycoach I agree. Simple does not equate to ineffective. Simple actually taps into the ways we learned as kids. How we built patterns initially so we can get back to that place & restructure them in more positive ways.
I believe that everyone has some form of a hurt child (micro & macro trauma). Patterns of survival that functioned for the child do not serve the adult. By healing our hurt child, we heal our adult self.
Well said, Anitra! ;)
@@mindvalleycoach thank you! Have a glorious day!

Great video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it, Marc! Thanks for sharing :)
The problem is that whenever someone makes the client "emotional" it is somehow a "success". I am not sure this is always a good thing. Not everyone reacts well when they break down but many need practical solutions rather than getting another "therapy" session from coaches. Just my 5 cents.
Great point, Angie! We agree different clients need different techniques and tools that work for them. However, tapping into the "emotional" side doesn't always require a "break down." It's important as a coach to know when to continue and when to stop. Thanks for sharing :)
@@mindvalleycoach I totally agree. This is why it is very important to make sure a coach has relevant qualifications because provoking painful memories may really cause a lot of harm, I am sure you will agree. Thanks for responding.
@@AngieStonesPhD We definitely do! Thanks for sharing :)
Already a WONDERFUL response, and to add I call these MEANINGFUL TEARS... She didn't really have a break down but a breakthrough...she was "emotional" but her tears had purpose, growth, understanding and meaning. I love this kind of breakthrough. Great job Coach💖
Dr. Angie Stones What kind of qualifications?
yes this was really transformational I liked the challenge as this was very important
So glad you enjoyed this, Liz! Thanks so much for sharing ❤

Yes yes yes! ✨
❤❤❤
Yes I've spotted this. I go for a deep emotional connection with the client anyway. Because that's what I'm teaching.
That's amazing, Holger! Thanks for sharing ❤
What I find the most "masterful" in this instance (edit: around 3:30), is not really the follow-up of questions - which is great, but... that is so great... that its basic. Coaching 101 to ask questions to dig deeper. :) What I find so masterful is the fact, that RIGHT before this moment, there was the "let go" moment. "Dont hold back. Is it ok not to hold back right now?" etc,
This, to me at least, facilitated the ease and speed of the responses and their absolute authenticity. The questions were great, but if they were not set up like this and the context was different, instead of a speedy honest deep response, she could get a rised eyebrow, or "let me think about that for 20 minutes"... But the setup made the subsequent volley of questions just cut directly through the constructs and right to the core... Impressive :)
What a fantastic observation! The power of building rapport and creating a safe space for the client. Thanks for sharing ❤❤
@@mindvalleycoach And thank you for the great video! :)
