- A full length, real time full flight video in real time from Birmingham to Berlin Tegel onboard Flybe Embraer E175 G-FBJF, operating flight BE1858 on 25 November 2014.
The flight begins on the ground in Birmingham with the aircraft being de-iced on an icy morning. We board the aircraft 20 minutes after the scheduled departure time, and once onboard are informed by the captain that due to the delay we have missed our slot into Berlin and we must wait for a further 40 minutes.
We finally push back an hour late from the stand at Birmingham, taxying out to runway 33. We depart to the north breaking through the thick fog within seconds, to a beautiful sunny day above. We make a right turn towards the east coast of the UK, crossing the North Sea before heading across the Netherlands and into Germany, where thick cloud starts to develop below. During the flight I have included some shots of the cabin and the inflight service. We make a right turn and begin our final approach, with the landing gear coming down above the clouds, before we see the last of the sunshine and drop into the foggy day below, emerging from the cloud just a few seconds before touching down on runway 26R. We taxi to our remote stand where today's flight ends.

+Jordan Simms I mount my GoPro to the window :) That's awesome, I have done Belfast City to Birmingham on Flybe before, after they cancelled my flight from Waterford to Birmingham. Had to go on a coach from Waterford to Belfast, it took over 6 hours, a couple of days before Christmas :( :(

+Jordan Simms GoPro is an action cam. Very easy to mount it on anything, and does quite high quality video. Would love to see some more full flights on CZcams!

+Jordan Simms Depends on the model you go for. The Hero 3 and 3+ are still sold in a lot of places, they are in the £150-£200 bracket, latest model Hero 4 silver is around £250 and black edition (with 4K) is almost £300. Argos sell them, as do any major electronics store :)

Thanks for commenting! Also been a regular on this flight - done both ways 3 times since November! :-( Very convenient times though. Last time though I did SK BHX-CPH-TXL and back on LH via FRA to try and mix it up a bit, and get on a CRJ200 :-)
How did you find Berlin? :) I find it very very bad for a Capital City, the City Looks very depressed, no any Colors... I will never visit this City again...
+He Je Tunisia At my last job I seemed to spend half my life in Berlin as we had an office there. I was there pretty much every other week, and really took a dislike to the place. In the summer it was quite pleasant but in the winter very depressing, although I guess I would have enjoyed it more had I been a tourist rather than working there!

Is it common on FlyBe flights to captains don't make their standard welcoming speech (excluding the information related the forced delay, like on this flight)?
Leonid Gordo On Flybe the flight crew normally welcome you onboard just after the doors close and before the safety demo, then give you an update on the flight progress before top of descent. Ironically this is the third time I've had this captain on my flight in the last couple of months :-)
