Did you modify the bell housing? I’ve seen a few they weren’t shifting properly maybe the gates were adjusted from the bottom of the shifter . Thinking about doing it without bell housing mod first until the clutch goes
I made sure that the transmission was in neutral and that the shifter was standing straight up to align. A better way is to purchase their $30 hole cover, which will help out with alignment
I did remove the transmission because I wanted to upgrade some components. Some people in the forums were lucky to be able to remove the gear actuator while the transmission was on, but I didn’t have any luck with that, since the guide pins were too tight. I just recommend removing the transmission!
@@jozeluixjozeluix you are very lucky haha. If you need someone to code your car remotely, I can send you his Facebook company! Good luck with your swap
is there any dyfrience betwean the v3 and v3 self centering one? cuz ive benn looking on the irp store wondering is there any dyfrience, is the regular v3 not self centering or somethink?
I would be lying to you if it fixed any issues with the spring dents, however, from what I experienced, the self centering spring is an alternative to having spring dents for the e46 m3 conversion. I hope this info helps you out!
@@KyleEspiritu805 I had to drill holes with the IRP shifter. I would recommend the RTD shifter if you don't want to drill holes, since it uses the 3 small threaded rods on the chassis.
@@Xfiles799 I don’t mind drilling new holes. But the also RTD looks great. but I really like the style of the IRP. especially the reverse button on top of the shifter.
@@KyleEspiritu805 Yes I would recommend the reverse lockout option. Some people run the RTD shifter that doesn't have the reverse lockout, but I'd rather spend an extra $100-$200, rather than reversing into someone lol

Nice work, bro. I'm thinking of buying one for my 330ci e46 2001
Did you? My brother has an 01 330cic

Just ordered my V3 and trying to find out how to you know where to position the mounting holes? 🤔 Is there a guide?

Do i need to code the car for that ??
Will this fit e46 320i
Is this a 6 speed? Cus i have a 5 speed looking for a billet. And i dont think ima need the lockout
It’s a 6 speed and yes you wouldn’t need the lockout, since the gates/springs are in the transmission already.
U can’t use the stock selector rod right
You can! I’m rocking with the stock rod selector. It might feel more quick with the dssr selector, but that’s what the company says 🤷🏻♂️

Yes if I'm correct regular dosent self centre
Above reply is correct ^ standard doesn’t have self centering. Not an issue as long as you have the transmission spring detents installed.
Don't all gear levers self center?
they do but they aren’t as aggressive i had one in my miata and you can feel it pull back to the center
Does this fix issues with the detents?
