Despite the result the game against Samoa at the Emirates was one of the best game of rugby league I have ever seen. Looking forward to watching these games later this year!!
Shaun's ability to blood the new players in preparation for the World Cup will be crucial I feel. He surely can't depend on some of England's go-to stalwarts...like Liam Farrell or Chris Hill in particular. Happily there seem to be many younger players chomping at the bit, but it's going to be difficult to get the nlend of youth and experience spot on. Plenty of experience beckons in the next year and a half. Holefully our younger stars will be at peak and (whisper it) ready to take on and vanquish the SH dragons. Interesting times ahead for English RL.
I'm nipping over to the Guardian site now, to see how Aaron Bower is playing it all down...
