  • After a less than pleasant experience on American Airlines only a few weeks prior to this flight, I was not expecting much.
Thankfully, the service provided was back to how I had experienced in the past, still a few minor issues, but good overall.
After arriving from Sydney on QF11, I made my way over to Terminal 4, thankfully with my OneWorld status I could use the Flagship check-in area, and that was a god send, as it was Presidents Day holiday weekend, and the airport was crazy busy.
Once checked in, one of the Flagship staff escorted me to the front of the TSA line, probably saving almost 1hr of queuing (even the priority line was out the door).
Once airside, I made a beeline for the lounge, and quickly had a shower to freshen up. After this, a light snack before realising my flight was actually leaving from Terminal B (Tom Bradley International Terminal) Gate 157.
There is an airside corridor, so getting between terminals only takes a few minutes.
With some spare time before boarding, I made a quick stop in the Qantas First Lounge for a proper breakfast.
Boarding at Gate 157 was on time, and I was seated in 1L, front row of First Class seats, whilst comfortable, they are starting to show their age.
Once at cruising altitude, Brunch was served, along with regular offerings of drinks.
I managed to get some sleep with the seat in the full lie flat position (no bedding is provided os such a short flight), and we we're in Dallas Fort Worth in no time, arriving at Concourse A.

*** Apologies for the couple of silly spelling mistakes in some of the sub text... Aproach = Approach (8:58) and I am not sure how Lounge turned into Loumge (11:42)... (I blame it on the jet lag).
