Especially the British bands who fought a real psychological war to see who would get to number 1 in the charts. The best time of my life. Today I'm 63 and mourn that time. This song was my favorite in September 1988 when I was 16 and went to the disco for the first time in my life. I was shy, uptight and ashamed to dance, so I was sitting at a table near the dance floor drinking some beer and watched the crowd. Then after one or two hours they suddenly played "Domino Dancing" and I told myself: so this is your favorite song, you MUST dance now, don't be such a coward! So I entered the dance floor, went to the middle and after a couple of more songs my shyness went away and I really enjoyed it. This is what I always have to think of when I hear "Domino Dancing".

I was 11 years old watching this on Mtv in 1988. What a magical world this is! The 80's were truly magical. Somehow after all these years I don't feel my age. Though I've seen so much. I've been through so much. My heart was utterly smashed several times and the last time I thought it was the end of me. I'm still here though and I feel younger than ever. I will remain that little boy. Dancing ,playing, singing, loving even though my heart keeps breaking. Actually every time it breaks I will dance and play and sing louder! @@maiamaya6083 Hay gente que no le gusta pero, la verdad tienen malos gustos si piensan eso, a mi punto son buenas canciones, de actual solo escucho música que pueda parecerse a la música vieja o a los clásicos, me acostumbré con mis papás que siempre escuchan música vieja y por esa misma razón, mis gustos vienen de ellos más que nada.
