- The 'MFX Pedal' brings all the effects and functionality of our popular Eurorack MFX module to both guitars and synths in standalone form with 18 different fully featured effects programs and additional MIDI, Knob and Expression pedal control, tap tempo, an optional analogue gain stage and true relay (or DSP) based bypass.
Inspired by our favourite classic hardware effects processors, the MFX incorporates DSP effect technologies from the dawn of digital effects in the 70s to the present day. Reshape sounds with the distortion and dynamics engines. Bend time space and pitch with multiple feature rich reverb and delay engines. Modulate signals with the flexible panner, frequency shifter, and range of ensemble effects. Fracture sounds with the one of a kind granular and glitch engines.

@@phelper4554 The big problem for us is simply the amount of overhead and complexity doubling all our SKUs would add. We'd much rather put that effort into developing products than something that's purely subjectively aesthetic and has absolutely no effect on how the module sounds or operates. If you really need a black panel then unofficial alternate third party panels do tend to become available - just keep in mind the risk you take in damaging a module when replacing a panel.
@@busycircuitsthe black panel requests get on my nerves and I don’t make models. Their tools. Who cares what color they are. The idea that someone would not buy a useful tool to express their creativity because it’s not a certain color makes me wonder if they’re only collectors.

This sounds amazing! Can you please explain how you're routing the audio? Is it just Syntakt into MFX, and you're high passing everything to not effect the kick? Or is overbridge at play here 🤔❤
Anything effected by MFX was sent to the ST’s main analog outs, all additional dry sounds were routed through USB audio for direct recording.

I feel like I would be prone to kick or stomp the encoder and/or button; that would lead me to want to either rack this and control it via MIDI or just leave it at home. Other than that, it looks and sounds good. Somebody else mentioned black panel options, I'd be down for that as well.
I got it a couple of days ago. The bit corrupter is great and worth the price alone.... The 10db boost though is not enough for use with guitar. Any chance it can be increased with a firmware update? Thanks
Sounds great, would this handle eurorack signals ok? I know about the module obvs but no room left in my travel case, this could be an option.
Use the Euro MFX for Euro signals ! Otherwise you'll need to use something like the SBG to level the signals like with any external effect pedal.

I might have missed it, but can this device stack more than one of its effects at the same time ? It sounds lovely. I could see a version of it with 4 stages and a foot-button switch to step through preset combos - ready for live performances.
One effect engine at a time. You can quick jump between user presets but not via foot buttons (something we could potentially add in a firmware update tho)

Nice layout, controls and sound...but dang, those footswitches are awfully close to each other. On a pedal board, that'd be murder. Hopefully, there are MIDI commands for bypass and tap tempo. Once the website is back up, that's going to be the first thing I check out.

The thought of having guitar/synth through it whilst playing bass via midi and a MPB25 foot controller...would be nice. Then i can never finish tracks but using all my limbs.

Can the EXP control tap tempo?
Yes - you can assign the expression to control things you'd otherwise control with tap tempo (delay time etc)

I love my MFX but the price on this is pretty bonkers now. It was already an expensive effect but an extra $100 for pedal format is a bit much yo.
