Hey guys, I’m Rabea. I'm the lead guitarist in Toska, Frog Leap & Dorje where I write music, make songs and have a great time with my mates. I also have my own line of guitars with Chapman Guitars, and I’ve designed numerous products with some really cool companies, such as the Victory Amps VX Kraken. Anyway, i hope you enjoy my videos, thank you for watching!

Peace & Love - Hudba
I love the Opeth references on the last couple of videos! 😎
Love how this gives you a definite 'space' without losing nuance or detail of playing like a reverb might do.
Ya I like having a wet/dry on a verb for that reason
10:21 love the Opeth
11:20 crazy how simple chord progressions can paint such a picture
I am looking for a non-traditional chorus myself and think I found it! Bea you demonstrate this pedal perfectly for what I am looking for. Amazed at how this pedal adds depth to a sound rather than the sickly overproduced 80s chorus sound
That Windowpane riff sounds so lush with that setup. Solid demo mate.
Just ordered this one as my first guitar pedal, I fell in love with the sound instantly!
It's always a pleasure to watch your reviews! Sensible and focussed with some great playing thrown in.
Man, I absolutely love your Pedal reviews! Not only the way you play, and often experiment in the end is beautiful and inspiring, but you do make sure that the effect of every knob and option is clearly understood!
I wasn’t sure of the random effect until I saw this video! Awesome quality content! 😄
An absolute joy to the ears as always dude. Love getting lost in your ambient playing! Hope everything is going well with your Mother and your family after your update vid!
Awesome pedal, amazing playing! Thank you for the great content
I just got my Gretsch Baritone. I got the same one you have . It's so much fun!
You literally have the best clean tones on the planet. Awesome pedal!
Oh man, good call on playing Windowpane. LOVE that song. Great sounds coming out of that pedal.
Great demo, as always. Love the guitar playing at 13:16 especially!
That thing sounds GREAT !!!
Got this pedal as a Christmas gift and I was immediately blown away. The stereo between my fender and orange amp is to die for. I get absolutely lost in front of my rig
Awesome pedal! 🤓 Great review, as always 👍🏻
this is exactly what i needed thank you
HUGE Sound!!
Rabea, i have been a fan of your playing and sound for ages now and i just wanted to say keep it up mate
Cheers Dave from Australia.
Yeah, great demo!
Nice warm sound and pedal features
you are probably the best Guitar Pedal Master I have ever watched. Awesome just awesome
Man its like they've read my mind. I specifically remember thinking "Man the Julia is a good pedal but they should really make it in stereo, then it'd be perfect. Oh and they should add a tap tempo too, that'd just be icing on the cake."
And of course they got Bea to demo it, they might as well just go ahead and steal my wallet. Great sounds as always man, thanks for being such a huge inspiration to me.
that pedal is as cool as you and your t-shirt! thanks for your always cool videos !
Was trying to decide on a chorus pedal and after watching your face while playing I realized this is the one I want. Well done.
I will never play through one amp again after getting a stereo rig up and running , my Boss GT 1000 sounds absolutely amazing in stereo. It was you Rabea that made my mind up to get the gt 1000 , you did a vid on it a while back and you made it sound awesome in stereo. It's so versatile the options are endless , and I love getting lost in the ambient sounds it produces
So yeah thanks Rabea.
Always at the front when it comes to great, atmospheric progressions and lines. Excellent work, beautiful sounding pedal.
Chicken wash
I'm really liking my new EHX Oceans 11. The shimmer and reverse settings are fucking awesome! I can get lost for hours.
You're the only youtuber I watch at normal speed. Just damn man your music is best.
When I subscribed to Bea, I came for the metal, but now I'm here to listen to the ambient stuff. Man, I could listen to you noodling with some light gain chorus/delay/reverb all day long. It's like chicken soup for the soul!!!
Copper
12:24 giving me MASSIVE Coheed And Cambria vibes. Sounds sick as always dude.
Walrus audio never disappoint
I have the Julia, which I bought to use very mildly on my jazz tone. The thing about this pedal is that it immediately enhance your signal, it doesn't take away anything from your tone. The same cannot be said about a lot of other brands... Now I want the Julianna
I said this on an Yvette Young video too (demoing the Effects Bakery compressor) - as a musician, I live for the moments like 4:35 when you get a tone that makes you smile like, "Oh yeah, THAT'S it".
Great review as always, Rabea - I can tell you're pleased as punch trying this thing out.
Barley
CZcams algorithm just overwhelmed me with Julianna videos:)
Even though I own the Julia and play it every day, I am still amazed of the general sounds in the videos of the Julia and Julianna! Fun to see how you started out with window pane and progressively started to play more ‘into’ the pedal. Thanks for again a great vid Bea!
The Windowpane riff made my evening.
Great as always Rabea!
No familiar with that riff. What's the timestamp for it?
10:22
Dope
Can you just put together an ambient/noodling album already. I'm totally ready to lose myself in that head space.
I have to listen to the Damnation album right after this cool demo
Cool pedal. Kinda all in one for modulation. I could sit around on a rainy day with a strat and noodle on that for hours.
Sweet tones. Subbed
Walrus, if you're lurking in the comments still, get this man on one of your demo videos!
Your team show the products so well, but Rabea knows how to "be a show off" in the Best way.
It sounds like a really beautiful, clear Univibe.
Sounds like a pretty cool pedal.
I'll have to try one sometime.
12:51 immediately reminded me of We Lost the Sea, time to give Departure Songs another listen I guess
Just wanted to come back to this comment to thank you. I'd never heard of that band until reading your comment which intrigued me. Thought I'd check out departure songs. What an incredible album!
love seeing We Lost the Sea fans in the wild! Good on ya mate. One of my fav bands of all time, saw them twice last year :O
Bea just knows exactly how to demo pedals
If Walrus makes a flanger like this, My wallet is in trouble
With the Lag turned lowest it does the ‘chorussy’ flanger sound actually. The sound is more apparent when in mono. But when they come with a dedicated flanger including thru-zero and jet flanger they can have my money for sure!
They just released one called the Polychrome! It has a cool iguana graphic too.
Late to the party but LOVED the Opeth riff, definitely reaffirmed me buying this pedal
Epic chordage, brah!
Walrus know how to dial in and EQ; a classic pedal that inspires, - dead on.
Excellent demo! Walrus make great gear. Been waiting for a chorus to replace my micro chorus. Think this ticks all the boxes.
That intro tune was excellent! Make a full song please
Sounds sick dude. Kind of making me regret getting rid of my pedalboard in exchange for a Helix LT haha! Really like the sleepless apparel designs too
Man, by the way you present things with such love and passion, you could sell me a fridge in an igloo at the north pole :) Liked and subscribed. Love and light to you from Khao Lak in Thailand
Looking forward to the bea baritone in the background 👌
Nice bit of Opeth, sounds great
Rabea, when you get the chance to shoot Sounds Like videos again you have to do Opeth!!! I've been waiting for years to hear you play some of those huge riffs!
Sounds awesome. Just a tip. You should put the pedal and your settings on the screen so we can see what your trying
The ravioli playing Opeth!
Good video...similar to my style of writing in places although I choose acoustic
Great demo! I’m trading my current stereo chorus for Julianna🎸🤘🏼🇵🇹🇺🇸
We finally got to hear the new BEA baritone!
As it has stereo in and out, you can run this "in series stereo", so you route mono out to stereo in and then stereo out to your mono RIG. I wonder what will that do, its super cool trick with stereo reverb and delay, but with chorus, it can get super crazy.
The “Lag Knob”...😂
Sooooooo SWeeeeeeT sounding - i simply did it - i just bourght one on Thomann , it will show up 2 days after my Zoia arrives - ( yeah - i did a double whammy on my wallet :-( - but Fak it ! Its gonna be a sweet lockdown cristmess for me , here in Copenhagen - Thanx man , you really sold it to me ....! :-O ....- ;-) lolololol.....lol....lo.....l ....hmmmmm ! 😎
Love your playing in this Bea, awesome as always
With the random wave shape, you got a sound there that reminded me of a tone from Caspian, similar to something they do in Rioseco. I think they do it using the Strymon el capistan. Anyway, lovely sound. If love to find a way to imitate it without spending over 200 quid on a pedal :)
hey Rabea - thanks for another great demo - what's the slowest rate this pedal can do on tap tempo? (I did go on their site and read the manual - couldn't find the info there - figured since you have the pedal you'll know) Cheers
This is awesome bro
Walrus sent this pedal to every youtuber on the planet today
I don't think they work like that. I assume they sent the product a long time ago and give them the chance to try and demo, and then when the time comes, it's allowed to release their material
Rabea. Because of you I purchased a grandmeister 40 will you please show me some of your settings. Please please I would appreciate it so much. Thanks. Glad you are doing well my man.
Brea, do you use these kinds of pedals live, or do you try to duplicate a sound (as close as possible) on your Strymon Möbius?
Windowpane
Damn this guy seriously makes me want to play guitar, and I've always been a drummer!?!
He started as a drummer. So he's good inspiration, perhaps.
It's really hard to tell how a pedal sounds from Bea because his base tone is so good and his base gear is such high quality. As a result, everything he demos sounds nice.
Oohhh your shirt is very Tool-esque. May I ask for it’s store of origin? Love the pedal and the video 🤘🖤
Thank you! This is from www.sleeplessapparel.co.uk
I would love to see a contrast and compare with the Pine Box Crooked Teeth.
Do you know if they got rid of the 2db boost that was in the original Julia??
Gives me a guilmourish kinda vibe
Can anyone tell me what cables he's using in this video?
The angled ones with the chrome plug
Bea... Please, make a comparison between your Soldano SLO and your Peavey 5150.
I could listen to Bea Jam all day.
Idk, Danish Pete said it was his least favorite in the blindfold chorus pedal test! LOL. If I had $200 to spare, I'd get this... Otherwise, I'm rocking my MXR Analog chorus and my Digitech Ventura Vibe.
What song is at 12:09 the brown telecaster knock off
What do you think is better, Julianna or dc-2w?
Can you plug this directly into an interface with, say, bias fx 2?
I dont know how to use/record pedals in stereo.... I record into garageband
any help?
every time Bea plays Opeth I get ridiculously giddy
You played opeth, what, I wasn't expecting that
Does anyone know if the input resistance is high enough to use with bass?
Rabea, mate, hope you're doing well - you seem to have melted off quite some weight. Big ups if this is you moving more and eating better - and I really hope that's exactly what it is.
Stay safe, cheers!
I wanna buy it just because it looks friggin' cool. I'm afraid to check the price though since I'll probably suffer from high shipping costs too! 😭😭
Oooof, yeah at $249 before shipping no way I can think about this until I get to heaven where I can have everything 🤣
I had a Greenhouse effects Stonefish chorus that sounded great but had no headroom so I sold it pretty promptly. I use higher output pickups and actives(which while technically being low output can hit a chorus pretty hard with their preamp even considering my chorus pedals are always in the loop). I was wondering how the headroom is with the Julia/julianna? I build my own pedals and for the price of the julianna I could build 2 or 3 complex high component density pedals. I would probably build a Ce2 clone and a 5 knob compressor if I dont get the julianna orJulia. I just really love the lag knob on the julianna/juila and since its controlling the lfo I would think its using a microcontroller with Walrus Audios own programming on it so I couldn't replicate it. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how that operates given it's the most logical conclusion. Anyways great demo, the more I hear the more I'm starting to forget about the price and the fact its either this 1 pedal or 3 that I build myself (and I love the process of building and modding my own pedals and creating my own layouts etc.....decisions). I'm looking forward to hearing about its headroom from any owners/users.
Hello! I just got one and the headroom is not huge. I’m using it in a loop of HX Stomp and it seems like Julianna overloads pretty easily with Fender Deluxe amp simulation gain at 6.0 (“edge of breakup” setting). It’s the first thing I noticed while playing and not sure if I like it or not.
Hope it helps you of smb else!
Soo I hear this pedal but it’s through Rabea’s rig and his fingers and not my own.
It’s the difficulty of knowing.... and what it will be like when I, eventually buy it.
The random mode reminds me of an aged tape delay
So is this sort of a univibe without the photocell?
Out of curiosity Rabea, trying a great number of Walrus Audio Pedals over the years which in your opinion is the greatest walrus audio pedal or pedals that you've tried?.
