Top tip. Use âSoakâ to turn the PokĂ©mon youâre catching into a water type. Not only can you now hit ghost types with False Swipe but theyâll lose their STAB boost.

Yes, that is true but you will then need two Pokemon wit the moves of soak and false swipe since there are not Pokemon that can learn both soak and false swipe.

BTW, each bird has a gimmick to how you encounter them in each area. For Zapdos, as shown, you chase him around the Wild Area. Corviknight Taxi Over To Mustardâs Dojo, and you should spot Moltres immediately, to where youâll have to chase it-like Zapdos.
Articuno is a complete contrast to the others, however. It is first spotted on a cliff in Snowslide Slope, just above the Regice Temple. Once you approach it, it creates two illusory clones of itself, and you have to guess which one of three Articuno is the real one via the wing motion the real one makes before they fly together. If you pick the wrong one, you have to find it in another spot in the Tundra.
Hope this helps you out with acquiring them, Michael.
Actually moltres flies in a pattern and you can just wait at the dojo for him to comeback if you donât get him the instant you land on the isle of armor. itâs a waste of time to chase him because heâs very fast and I would be surprised if someone actually caught up to him.

If I don't see a single Galar Zapdos named Thndr Thighs (because of character limitations), they're doing it wrong.

i also made the mistake of using the master ball you get from the dlc on calyrex, but the thing is i am doing a second playthrough so i can get ice rider calyrex and regieleki because i chose shadow rider calyrex and regidrago on my first playthrough

The Kanto legendary birds were definitely cool for their time, also they are a little too simple like most older gen mons and as we got more gens the designs changed and became more detailed which makes the old ones look weak by comparison, so I donât think theyâre lame theyâre just old ,

@@hussainalinabi3823 That didn't mean that Gamefreak needed to remove its ability to fly. Zapdos was awesome as is. The sharp, jadded electric motif works well for it. If anything, there are several other pokemon that needed Galarian forms more than the legendary birds, even though they butchered Galarian Slowking.
@@silv2309 Well, how was Gen 1 supposed to handle the electric type? Making the fur/feathers spiky makes a lot of sense, as if it's standing on end. Jolteon and Zapdos do this very well.
not to mention how Moltres looks like the rubber chicken on fire, and the galarian version look like dark souls chicken on fire.
and Articuno is just a blue bird with a beard, 3 ice crystals on the head, and a sparkly ribbon for a tail. Looks cool to a degree, but it could convey the ice type better. If anything Articuno got the best one because of the admittedly cool colors and the icy blue wing tips. the mask however looks kinda dumb

Same. I think Articuno gave me the most trouble. It got to the point where it didn't even do it's trick, it just stood there and waited for me. I would have gotten it sooner but the moment I went for the right one, the other one touched my back and it counted that instead. I was so annoyed.

You can also use the bell on your bike to open the door. Tip for Zapdos: right before you catch up to it, save. If something goes wrong you donât have to try so hard to catch up.

That speed part of catching Regieleki was hilarious!
Friendly advice that helped me.
Pyukumuku, max both defenses investment, soak. Pyukumuku can wall surprisingly well at 359 neutral max and 252 HP. Soak changing the type to water not only removes STAB, but will make even legendaries vulnerable to Net Balls, which gives you another means to capture. Not as good as Dusk Balls or Timer Balls, but that's how I caught my Zapdos.

Hey Michael, are you gonna shiny hunt the Regis? They arenât shiny locked. Also you can only get either regieleki or regidrago, not both in the same save file. You need to trade with other people or use home with another save file.
Pssst... you need all Regis in your party to get regigigas.

Galarian zapdos is my favorite one, its easy to find and catch up to, it didnt take many tries either, but also i love its design

I got lucky with Zappos and caught it in my first Ultra Ball. Zapdos is really cool in my book. Would use it on my team if it didnât clash with my Lucario.
I have a theory the weather changes in every place because the explosion that was done in the battle of Pokemon that created 2 universe that could have damaged the part of all region that's why we see a part of region in different weather

Little piece of advice I use. I have the metronome item on my false swiper PokĂ©mon. It makes any move you use in succession more powerful so every time you false swipe in a row itâs 10% stronger but still leaves 1hp.

@Super Greyflash I did. I leveled it up to level 100 and used a gold bottle cap on it. Im using it in competitive right now.

This was in ultra sun. Replayed it about a month ago to shiny hunt some legendaries. I prefer to soft reset over dynamax adventures. Do beldums really not use take down now? Didn't notice.

Galarian Zapdos was the hardest for me too. It took out almost all of my team, leaving only my level 100 Charizard with red HP before I finally managed to catch it with an Ultra Ball.

in my opinion, the galar birds' signature moves should do dual-typed damage, like flying press. like, firey wrath should do dark and fire damage (as an example)
