Caught my moltres on the first try and screamed like a little kid. Pissed my wife off because her articuno had just run away lol.

@@shadowrasengan1358 still only got my one. The others have run from me. My son ran across articuno yesterday and if didn't run after the first ball for some reason but bolted after the second

Been doing daily incense everyday since its release. Seen about 8 birds, and caught 0. Super sad, but this makes me excited for when I eventually catch one, it will be epic! I hope it's moltres

I caught a moltres today, I threw a silver pinap and used an ultra but didn't even get a nice throw. Would love to know what the chances were of that

I’m in the exact same boat as you. 114 days, 8 encounters, nothing to show for it.
Edit: 175 days of daily incense, 13th encounter today, still don’t have one.
This makes me realize how lucky I was to catch my first galar bird on my first encounter. Seen 5 total, and it’s the only one I have caught.

I have yet to catch a Galarian bird, but I remember getting Moltres and Zapdos on back to back days, and I didn't realize how high the flee rate was until after I talked about it the second time. You can probably imagine how salty I was when I realized.
When i saw the zapdos stay, i was like "Bro, he got lucky" i have never seen a galarian bird stay after breaking out of a pokeball
I had an Articuno stay for a ridiculous 7 balls, and I did not catch it lmao. Absolute troll bird since I still haven't caught any of the ones I've seen

@@jam9795your math is trash.. chance that he doesn’t get it in 7 throws with 10% catch rate is 0.9^7 = 48%. So it‘s actually a coin flip. Like why would you calc 0.1^7 that would be the chance to catch 7/7 galarian birds back to back

Ran into a galarian bird (zapdos) on monday for the first time ever since the insence came out. I already knew how hard it is but its still nice seeing people catch it and I know I'll grind for one and not give up until I get all three
I did about 15 days in a row, no birds spawned, no shinys, I haven't done one since. Apparently the only thing I'm missing out on is extreme frustration, so I feel good about that.
You just have to keep trying, it’s all you can do really

I can do daily incense, maybe once in a great while get a Galarian bird, and be extremely frustrated when I never catch it, or I can ignore the daily incense. Either way, I never get a Galarian bird, and the only thing I miss out on is the extreme frustration. I feel like I can do without that just fine.
@@khicks72 They'll eventually feature them in raids or as research breakthroughs just to give everyone the opportunity to catch 'em, not to mention shiny versions, so yeah... seems a bit ridiculous at this point.

I went crazy on these birds every day and saw a lot of them run away until I caught my Moltres and very soon after the Zapdos 😊 congrats to you, too!

Pretty nuts encounter luck. You saw 2 articuno, 1 moltres, 2 zap in 22 days. I've seen about that many 90+ days (4 zap and a molt).
But overall I would say "random" to catch seems like a more fair description than "hard".

wasn't planning on grinding part 2 of the halloween event until this weekend but i went to do the bare minimum today (daily incense) and got a shiny piplup from checking a random spawn along the way

I’ve been using my incense daily, and i’ve gotten three bird spawns. Zapdos has spawned twice for me, but it’s been soul crushing both times. Each time i tapped on them, it fled before i encountered them. However, i did end up catching articuno yesterday right before the zapdos disappointment
So your saying you caught a articuno right before you seen a zapdos? From a daily incense on the same day?

I first saw the articuno and then failed the catch, and when i returned to the normal screen, i saw zapdos, but i didn’t react fast enough and by the time i clicked on it i was too far away to open the encounter 😭. I caught articuno some other time i can’t remember when exactly it was rn lmao

I’ve lost 3 so far and so tried the “noob ball loss trick” once. Got zero captures so far. But, seeing someone so devoted to this as you are struggle, it gives me hope and a bit of peace. My great throw fails don’t feel so deflating right now. Thank you for making what really is, a feel good video for all of us for whom the struggle is real 😂.

I got articuno and he got moltres
We both didn’t catch it but my game broke and made it so I couldn’t throw berries and it was lvl 1! (Like 12CP)

I’ve hit excellent curveball throws with the ultra ball, while using the golden berry, regular berry and banana berry.
They always flee on the first ball.

Found a galarian moltres today while on a route with my brother, I knew I wouldn't catch it though since I'm fairly inexperience at the game, just found it wild that I had an opportunity to see one
Just caught a Zapdos which finally completed my set after doing daily incense every day since the release. Not only that but it was the 2nd Zapdos I ran into during the 15min duration being the very last spawn that popped up 😜
I saw my first bird a week ago and it escaped 5 times before running away 😳 1/10000000 chance.
You should have thrown alot of missed balls then use an ultra ball with the golden razz to catch it. Which is what the Kruse Ship video is for.

I had an encounter with Galarian Moltres. Such a cool pokemon, sadly I wasn't able to catch it but a cool encounter none the less. Altho I did catch a shiny Eevee off the daily so Im not that pissed.

I encountered a galatian zapdos roday, but as soon as it broke out of my first ball, it fled. I was so upset, but then i got a free mewtwo from the giovanni quest from november 14th

I discovered the galarian birds were a thing completely by accident, totally thought I had glitched or something. After doing research, I spent the next 3 weeks trying to find one again. Luckily for me, I managed to complete a research task that gave me a master ball, so when that Zapdos finally reappeared, I wasn’t taking any chances 😂
