    Thank you for your tips and tricks. I have a question: when I receive an action email to do something, how can I add a note on the email stating what has been done so when I receive a question about the email that was sent and what was done, I’ll be able to pull it up with the comments/notes made. This will also keep me from reviewing my emails to make sure I’ve answered/done/made notes to the email that was sent to me and keep from duplicating work

    • @SeleTraining
      @SeleTraining  Před 3 lety +1

      Several options available depending on which works best for your purpose. You can drag/drop an email to tasks and create an entry with a due date and notes associated with the email. That even let's you schedule activities for the particular task. Another option is to open the message and edit it. You can add text to the email. Another option is to use the flag to mark emails or categorize them. That won't let you add notes but you could sort by a particular category. Another option is to use OneNote. OneNote integrates to all the Office apps.

    Great tutorial. I have never seen anyone put chapter markers on CZcams videos = awesome time saver to skip past known segments. I am having trouble with Outlook 2010. I realize it is legacy, but love it and hate all of the newer versions that use wire icons that all look very similar, very poor contrasting (lighter gray on-top of slightly darker grey instead of real contrasting colors, loss of hotkey function like tab clicking to select multiple emails to delete instead of having to do them one at a time, and a host of other deletions and general changes for the worse. IN watching this video, I did learn about a lot of cool features (thank you), but none that compensate for the horrible butcher job they did to the forced (no option) aesthetic changes and loss of advanced user function. Everyone seems to be following Apple's tren of minimalism - sacrificing function for beauty. Doesn't make sense to me, especially not providing legacy options like they did for windows 7 = task bar and quick launch from windows Xp and Windows 98. All of this is an example of 'fixing' things that weren't broken. You seem to be one of just a few people who may be able to help me with my outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Pro. Please help.

      Not aware of any option to do that. You can edit a message but that does not let you edit the attachment. You'd have to save the attachment and add it back to the message.
