Using a Good Lock and NavStar you can re-enable that feature. I was annoyed about it too until I figured out how to reactivate it. Let me know if you need me to explain exactly how to do it.

i personalli hated that, maybe there wasnt a big pool of users, either way small things like these should be coded anyway and let the user decide. having choice is the key, some times u wanna switch up or try differently and they don't understand that more choices and customization is the key

This is great news for me personally. I always wanted to use the new gestures but always ended up going back to the button gestures since it was hard wired into my brain. I always said I couldn't wait until I was forced to use the new gestures and now I finally got my wish.

Damn I didn't even know ow this was a thing. I have a galaxy a54 and even tho at the start I was using regular buttons I decided to push myself and switch to the other mode to free up a bit of screen and also "adapt to the future". Although I've mostly gotten the hang of it it's still annoying sometimes that to open your apps tab is pretty slow. I just went and checked and realized it was hidden behind the "more options" button. This seems way more easily used and am glad to stumble upon this short 😊
