I think the big multifunctional swipe is the best one if you get used to it. It does perform really well, but i get that you liked the specific one that they got rid of
@@ezakustam Good Lock isn't supported in all countries and all Samsung devices from what I know you should google your device name and check from what you see. Fine Lock is similar to Good Lock idk you check it out and maybe see some CZcams reviews, that's the extent of what I know 🫡.
@@Albert-Azis its extremely usefull if you use the one one handed operation plus app from Samsung , because you can use the left and right sides of the display for Shortcuts gestures instead of navigation, and you can put 6 on each side.. I use 3 to control music ( 1. play/ pause. 2. Previous song. 3. Next song) And other 3 at the other side , one for opening google translate app in pop up window, another to jump to pull down notifications panel so I don't have to stretch my finger on top of display and another to open the keyboard for search bars inside apps , it's usefull if the search bar is on top of the display like it is on youtube and Spotify.
@@gabesedits5424 It's not, Samsung has a bad habit of removing features and never bringing them back. One of the main points of One UI is "one handed use." As you can see, this newer panel isn't in coordination to that.

The only way to expand the storage is to use the USB-C to USB dongle and use a flash drive or another type of any USB storage. But, you can't add an SD card next to the sim card or anywhere else.

This type of gestures is my favourite too. I used it from 2019 to 2023 on s9+ until i got s23 ultra and i was confusing cause my second phone, so i had to set the "new gen" gestures... The 3 swipes from bottom were like 🗿
You have to admit though, it makes sense from a practical standpoint. It takes longer to swipe in a spot than to just tap on it, and that's basically buttons vs 'swipe buttons'
Its because of their new AI features. But they should make an “action button” for it.. just a fysical button thats made for Samsung AI. They had that with bixby before

That recent, back, home swipe from those bottom button swipe is one of the worst and annoying way to navigate, its great they took it away 😂, either use buttons or simple gesture. More convenient
God i hate the new swipe gestures so much. When i swipe pictures on Instagram for example, i often accidentally use the “go back” gesture, it’s super annoying.
They were stupid enough to not give you just the option to revert back to the previous notifications panel style. What happened to the whole theme of "One Handed Use?" I hate it when they do stuff like this.

My wife and I felt the same, we upgraded from S21 Ultra and used the 3 swipe too. However, this phone is so amazing, I can live with the single gesture
I'm so glad someone has said something this is one of my favorite features. So sad that it's gone. I have a z flip 5 so I still have the option, but I switched to gestures so I can get used to the gestures, considering I'll most likely be buying a z flip 6.
@stillmangal I'm going to update my phone... I just enabled gestures now so I can get used to them before its inevitably removed. Now I'm sort of used to gestures, but I do still prefer my old way of navigation
When I upgraded from the s7 edge to the 21 ultra, I was bummed to lose the physical home button but planned to use gestures because my family has iPhones, and it works well. I tried gestures, and they worked well, but I found myself liking the 3 lower buttons more that samsung offers. 🤷♂️

No they didn't. They could have still had it. If ita activated by a hold of home (presumably a swipe and hold for the iphoney gesture system) they could also do that with this as well.

i personalli hated that, maybe there wasnt a big pool of users, either way small things like these should be coded anyway and let the user decide. having choice is the key, some times u wanna switch up or try differently and they don't understand that more choices and customization is the key
This is great news for me personally. I always wanted to use the new gestures but always ended up going back to the button gestures since it was hard wired into my brain. I always said I couldn't wait until I was forced to use the new gestures and now I finally got my wish.
Damn I didn't even know ow this was a thing. I have a galaxy a54 and even tho at the start I was using regular buttons I decided to push myself and switch to the other mode to free up a bit of screen and also "adapt to the future". Although I've mostly gotten the hang of it it's still annoying sometimes that to open your apps tab is pretty slow. I just went and checked and realized it was hidden behind the "more options" button. This seems way more easily used and am glad to stumble upon this short 😊

It is so it can be triggered. But this sucks that they decided to remove the gestures AND the ability to hide the hints! What if someone doesn't want to use circle search? They lost the gesture options for nothing.

I use swipe gestures everyday on my s23U. If they don't bring that back, that's definitely a deal killer for me.

Before, you could swipe for many apps to open the menu/side bar.... but they removed that...
I use it.. And I absolutely love it..
I've been using it for like 2 years and it's the best one imo, it makes using the phone so fluid

Samsung implemented that into OneUI 6.1, not the S24 series itself.
Its still available in one ui im s23 and below
S23 series and below didn't receive OneUI 6.1 yet, as long as you don't update you will still have it. I don't recommend doing that though.
