Yeah that's a Widowmaker Chris you know why Widowmaker is right it's a tree branch that goes through your windshield that's a Widowmaker that's what the hell it is I know because my dad told me it's called the Widowmaker
Glad i had time to see this video! Been missing your laid back, "nuttin' i can't handle confidence!" I haven't had extra time to relax & watch. Got me another Great Grandson to help make my days shorter.😊 Thank you for the lack of potty mouth. I sincerely appreciate being able to watch you with the 8 &12 year old Great Grandkids. Im trying to show them hard work can be enjoyable, too.😊 Have a good week, LD18.
I'm happy Barney fired up like a champ. And you definitely need the 330 to save ruining your 220. At least it's a minor and not the cab. Great job today Chris.
That branch falling was scary. Having watched you for a few years now, it's clear you take safety seriously. Your situational awareness is impressive and yet the odd thing can happen. Thanks for sharing balloon #2.😉It's funny yet sad those things are everywhere. This is going to be such an interesting project. Thanks for bringing us along, Chris.
The 330 really shines in this environment, glad you were able to put into the LD18 stable of equipment. Already looking so much better, thanks for the update sir, going to throughly enjoy this series.
Chris: "That Limb came down there..., broke my mirror off which I don't need anyways but it scared the crap out of me and ruined a good pair of underwear
Very nice Job Chris taking all them trees down on Day 1 can't wait to see the progress you make on the next amazing videos you put out of it you are the best
Since you have so many big trees coming down it would be nice to have a second camera filming from outside. Just a suggestion. I know video equipment isn’t cheap so no worries. Thanks for great content!
Cotten 3's new clam bucket with hydraulic chain saw would work well for you on this job. Guess you have to determine what makes sense. Am sure you think about tracker and low boy sometimes also.
Hi Chris, my husband and I don’t want you to get hurt cause that would make us sad, so stay safe cause we love the great work you do and love your videos
It’s not that hard…there’s nothing in the ground to worry about and dig around, all you have to do is break up the roots and look up before you push the tree over so you don’t break off a limb like he did and smash the machine!
That`s a whole lot of work taking out those trees, it would almost seem eaiser to cut them down and just dig out the stumps and stack the trees. But you have been doing it long enough you must know better, those are some huge roots.
Chris - when I’ve asked before about an attachment for the 220 that had a grapple, stripper and cutter on it I was told it would have a huge price tag $250k upwards…. can’t help but think again that working single handed on a job like this would cut ‘your time’ processing fallen trees down which release you to do other things?
I know you are always careful but limb falling from that height. Scary. Those are much bigger trees than they look on camera. Love hearing Barny start up. Nice purr. Good video. Thanks Chris.
They were some stubborn gun trees but interesting what it takes to bring them down safely and the close call one glad you weren’t stepping out of the cab you a safe operator but them wild ones that get hung up you never know nice progress though and the 330 is a nice big machine for your work 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
It would be nice to have a piece of equipment that works sort of like the rock crusher. Put the stumps in a vat with turning drums that tumbles the stumps and knocks the dirt off .
The great Trees on the Abandoned Farm have big Roots, that the Hyundai Excavator to the insertion must come. That the to dig out from the great Trees go speedy. The Daywork from You, great. The Video Interesting , how You the Trees put out. 💪👌
I love watching the stumpers work. Those root balls are huge! So after the branch took the mirror off, were you able to find your seat cushion? Your pucker factor must have been through the roof lol.
Barney has to be the most reliable piece of equipment in Chris's inventory. 3 months since he used it and it stated up almost the second he turned the Key.
I see the newness has worn off the new 220. You scratched it and now you busted a mirror off of it. 😜 Glad that was all that happened. They don’t call them widow makers for no reason.
Dammit Man !! Those Limbs falling , ain't No Joke !! Thank God it didn't get ya... Yeah, the 330 is a Beast for sure, taking them right on down !! Plus pretty easy to clean up the root ball !! Looks like ya may get a couple truck loads of trees to haul off there... Sure nice to have the right machine, or tools for the job, ya know it !! lolol... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Day today, And, On too the Next !! Damn video didn't come threw til this morning ?? CZcams or the Net is acting up , I guess ?? who knows !! lolol...
1 time you said something about the trees cutting up to 17 feet is there a good reason, I’m sure there is or you wouldn’t be doing it. Thank you Sir for this video
Still think you should have the protective grille for the excavator cab when doing these kinds of clearing jobs especially with trees that height .Bolt on bolt off but you may only need it once but hey once is all it takes .
Chris, why not put logs, 2,the opposite direction, then the log piled on the stickers, logs,so they keep cleaner and dryer? I've noticed not many do this down south
As far as your AC goes in Barney, I really hope it's not Freon. (R12). If it is, please get it converted and replace all the A/C seals. Even if it's R134A, if you have to keep recharging it, it's still a problem.
When I saw the title of the last video about abandoned farm my impression was another mobile mansion complete with adult toys. This place is a little bit nicer. It would be interesting to learn how it came to this.
It seems like those bigger pine trees should be desirable for the lumber companies. Do those diameter trees still bring decent money? If so, do you have any trouble getting someone to haul or do you use the same hauler you use for pulp wood? Maybe not all of them are diseased and rotted. The 330 will definitely earn its keep with those big boys.
Dad found d a Ballon one time that had been released in memory of a child that had passed away. It had a note on ut requesting who ever found it to send them a letter saying where and when ut was found.
I wonder when Chris will get that mirror fixed. Even though he says he doesn't use it, he does know that it's not there now and that's bound to bug him. It would me.
Chris, you are on the money with your comment about working smarter when by yourself. Your jobs are remote from help and hospitals. Be safe.
Widow-makers are no joke. Good to still have you with us! Stay safe out there!
Watching videos like this make me understand why we move so many cabs through our warehouse. Be safe.
Yeah that's a Widowmaker Chris you know why Widowmaker is right it's a tree branch that goes through your windshield that's a Widowmaker that's what the hell it is I know because my dad told me it's called the Widowmaker

Barney is definitely dependable!!!
@charleswelch249 Except for the torn off Mirror which took the casualty..

Gotta love the land and tree clearing jobs!! Always good to see Chris dropping the lumber!!
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
Chris you love that kinda work we can tell by the way you plan every step with you're machines
The 330 really shines in this environment, glad you were able to put into the LD18 stable of equipment. Already looking so much better, thanks for the update sir, going to throughly enjoy this series.
Chris I told you this property owner wouldn't let you go👍
It's great having the correct equipment at the time you need it. You're doing a nice job!
This property is going to look really really nice when you are done! 👍👍
While new is nice, having well maintained older units gives you so much flexibility on projects and your time usage!
Thank you and have a good day.
I love watching you work, thanks for sharing your day with us..
Chris: "That Limb came down there..., broke my mirror off which I don't need anyways but it scared the crap out of me and ruined a good pair of underwear
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊

The 330 is a real tree remover. It's evident of the size and power difference in the first tree that falls. Great work.
Cotten 3's new clam bucket with hydraulic chain saw would work well for you on this job. Guess you have to determine what makes sense.
Am sure you think about tracker and low boy sometimes also.
Always cool seeing the power of the 330.
Hi Chris, my husband and I don’t want you to get hurt cause that would make us sad, so stay safe cause we love the great work you do and love your videos
After watching the first video of this job, I thought man! he's gonna need the big boy.
Yey Barney!! Good machines!! Good to hear some Timbers again!
Thanks for the video , like it man .
The 330 sure has no problem picking 3 trees impressive 👍👋🇨🇦
No game for fools. Huge trees, big machines and many years of experience and skills learned - amazing tree felling to watch.
You make this look so easy! You are definitely one talented operator.
It’s not that hard…there’s nothing in the ground to worry about and dig around, all you have to do is break up the roots and look up before you push the tree over so you don’t break off a limb like he did and smash the machine!
That 330 is surely the beast. Love to watch it work.

Keep safe Chris! Those widow makers are 95 % of forestry deaths. I was thinking g that the cab was keeping you safe moment's before "mirror down".
I was wondering if you ever thought about getting a wood chipper and turning it into chips for the public to get hold of
"I don't use that mirror anyway". I bet he replaces it anyway just because he can't stand a broken machine.
Getting done
I know you are always careful but limb falling from that height. Scary. Those are much bigger trees than they look on camera. Love hearing Barny start up. Nice purr. Good video. Thanks Chris.

Between Geoff and this client, you've got more work than you know what to do with. Nice video once again, this site will look amazing post clean up.
Safety Sally says: Might want to install a head ache guard on the roof of your excavators as you do a lot of tree work. At a minimum wear a hard hat.
I love watching the stumpers work. Those root balls are huge! So after the branch took the mirror off, were you able to find your seat cushion? Your pucker factor must have been through the roof lol.

One of your stumping attachments weighs more than my excavator lol, great stuff, thanks for posting!
Man you are making some good progress in clearing .
Those roots are hell when there grown together.
Need to make removable caging for the windows when working and clearing trees then you can take it off when just moving dirt
Fighting the roots 💪👍😁
The 330 does give you more weight to push with. Nice clearing (with ballons) work.
Chris I enjoy your videos too
Chris have ya looked at the hydraulic clam buckets for the big excavator i seen one the other day on a 330 cat it was definitely handy
Job well done 👍🏻
Sometimes ya just gotta bring in the Big Boy to get things done.
The 330 definitely sped up taking those trees down.
Thanks
Enjoyed the video
I was wondering when you were going to find a balloon. Thanks for the video
The 330 digging up trees..... Let me go pop some popcorn!!!😊
nice work
Everytime I show my mother of 63 your video's she always says the tree murderer 😂
Big boy got her done , nice job
Like to see the D7 back in action
I see the newness has worn off the new 220. You scratched it and now you busted a mirror off of it. 😜

When sweet gum trees are like that its a group of regrouth from one cut a long time ago normally with a common stump !
1 time you said something about the trees cutting up to 17 feet is there a good reason, I’m sure there is or you wouldn’t be doing it.
Thank you Sir for this video
Nice video Chris. Have to watch out for the widow makers, sorry about your mirror.
Still think you should have the protective grille for the excavator cab when doing these kinds of clearing jobs especially with trees that height .Bolt on bolt off but you may only need it once but hey once is all it takes .
Considering how much you use the excavators for tree clearings, wouldn't it be safer to get steel roof bar/cage installed on them?
Looks like the smaller tree had more roots than the big tree!!! Lol
Chris, why not put logs, 2,the opposite direction, then the log piled on the stickers, logs,so they keep cleaner and dryer? I've noticed not many do this down south
There is going to be some right dandy camp fires from this lot bro. Safe travels. Ken.
THANKS!
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
The 330 make quick work on those trees.
Yes that is cool Peace out
A few months ago I dug up 9 poplar trees in one root ball, it was 13’across when I got it out but sweet gums are the worst

Work with machine easy, no worry someone l like work alone if has modern machine like you ❤️
I wonder if on the stumper buckets a little bit sharpening the edges would help?
@lets dig 18....just to let you know.... I have resorted to watching 3 year old videos, when you miss a day🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Try getting them all down with the bucket and then going back with the stumper to get the dirt off
Hello Chris, you often give your equipment names like Barney so I wondered about the 330 Hyundai becoming "Big Bad John"?
👍🏻👍🏻because one is just never enough 🤛🏻🤛🏻
Let’s dig it
good video

That’s why they call them widow makers. At least you are inside of the cab where it’s relatively safe.
Howdy Chris!!!
The 330 Looks pretty quick for a bigger machine. Anyone had any experience with one? I am looking at getting a 30-35 tonne
Dad found d a Ballon one time that had been released in memory of a child that had passed away. It had a note on ut requesting who ever found it to send them a letter saying where and when ut was found.

220 gets attacked by tree ... 330 "Hold My Beer".. 🤣🤣🤣
Are you planing to put a thumb on hyundai excavator?
Chris could you just think of the 550 doing that sure would be a site to see wouldn't it
13:00 Missed a camera moment of the widowmaker falling!
