As soon as I saw your last video I was thinking "In Indiana if you put any type of motor on any type of watercraft you HAVE to register it, and it is a PAIN to make it so you don't have to register it if you take the motor off. They'll expect that money every year now." Enjoy your toys!

For sure, the registration is for 3 years. But the interesting thing is I thought I had to put it on my personal property taxes, but the lady said no. She said she does not have any canoes or kayaks and if I need a wavier for the DMV, to call her. But, it didn't come to that. So I guess I have 3 years to decide if it is worth it. đŸ€” Thanks for the comment.

Indiana. The DMV will give you a form. You go to the parking lot and call the local police, NOT 911. The officer will stop by look over your boat sign your paper then you can go back in the DMV and get your business done. Not sure why its this way but that's it. Keep in mind that now you have a motor vehicle it falls under those same laws like, drinking and driving laws.

That's wild. I wonder if some other states are similar. Interesting. Thanks for the comment.

It wasn't easy. I would contact the manufacturer, if possible. Keep asking them, "Who can tell me what i need to do?" Good luck

    I said screw it
I used the turbine part of the trolling motor as a Thruster underneath the canoes rear, and put a couple of large batteries up front, everything mounted stealth.
All's you see is a guy who knows how to paddle a canoe really fast and quiet.
The DMV can kiss my ass
