This lady is 85 years old if I was in her shoes I would want to have the son that was taken for me as close to me as possible to make up for the time, the 65 years that she missed out without her son. What an amazing story.
I found my mom after 50yrs.
    She was literally pissed!!
She only cared about the reputation that would inflict on her husband of 47yrs, their grown children, church folk and grandkids.
She didn’t want to present me until her lies were straight!, I had to look a certain way, well educated, financially stable, A career to their standards and live a posh lifestyle..
I didn’t fit any of their wishes, so I was made to suffer the consequences for finding them.
They literally treated me like shit stuck on the bottom of their shoes.
I knew exactly what they were expecting,
And I did just that, I left and never looked back.
I borrowed money from a friend to get to California. They wouldn’t even pick me up at the airport.
Once I got to their mansion, I was definitely in awe.
Stuff I’ve only seen on tv.
I walk in and everyone ignored me, looking me up in down as if I wasn’t worthy to be in their presence.
I ate dinner there, but wasn’t allowed to stay in their home.
    SMH!
    4 extra bedrooms unoccupied!
So, I had to find a cheap hotel.
I left California the next day.
    Life’s lessons..

He should be on disability and get a social security check by now, since the police officer got his I D. Back. What is going on,on the street AGAIN????He speaks softly, has a kind soul, doesn't abuse alcohol or drugs the police officer said. That birth mother is 85 years old and he is 67years. What is going on???sad, sad, someone please help him to get a roof over his head.I don't get it either??????He has been homeless 30 years and did not have a happy homelife with his ADOPTIVE PARENTS,thanks to their own children?????this is about my 4th commentary Jan 1st 2020 Happy New Year Di Maria

@Di Maria it would only seem right to think of his mother. his siblings didn't have anything to do with abandoning him nor would they have anythingto do with him going back to his lifestyle. Obviously he didn't want to stay or none of them wanted him in their home. maybe he doesn't want to go live in a retirement home because he would be eligible. But All of his siblings came after him so they don't have a connection...they just wouldn't give a s***. They don't know him. I'm adopted and I met my siblings many years ago, we are still not close and it's two different families of siblings. There's just no love connection and too many years. I wasn't trying to cause no problem. It's a shame adults cannot speak kindly to discuss ideas.

Maybe he had to fullfill his obligations to get his social security?retirement from source of the government funds? There is s lot of regamarol (red tape). If process is started in one state it may be best to stay untill paperwork is finished and request is fully processed. Most do not know, Medicare & Medicaid doesn't cross state borders, and even from one county to county in the same state! And if the man needs a payee or new one it really gets complicated. Also if any fines or court requirements can keep a person in the same state. It is obvious this family has totally accepted him and love him dearly.
