@@compuhombre Yeah, Teslas have everything except the look. Maybe it's just me, but the original KITT still looks amazing. I don't think it looks outdated at all. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I still love how it looks.
Damn, I hope future self-driving cars (Level 4 & 5) will integrate some sort of AI voice system, and KITT will be our dream AI including the User Interface, we love his red bars.

You could talk through your watch perhaps with smart watch and some tweaks kitt are you there meet me at the front of the building silent mode buddy

I saw a video of someone who did using the Tesla summon function and the native tesla app. My watch has the look like Michel Knights watch but that is it!

when you talk to kitt, do you have to press a button so that kitt knows that you are talking to it? or do you just talk and kitt responds?
also do you choose the response that kitt says or does kitt just randomly answers with his own answers?

Angel yes it can be done on a Model 3. 1 for the APP just go to the APP Store and Download it, for the web page go a google search for "Kinetic Tesla Screens" on a comment below you can find the link to the light array that I installed on my S. Once you integrate it you will be asked tons of questions by other Tesla drivers!

I work for tesla and this is not tesla approved no matter how big a fan you are. Says the biggest knightrider fan evah!...model 3 model S no tesla model can even come close to that beautiful 1982 Trans am.
Think kitt the car is still cool then Tesla think the dash in kitt was more futuristic then in the Tesla car amazing.

Is it possible to have the voice box be used for reacting to other sounds? Such as music or if someone is calling on your phone? Not just William Daniels’ voice or Knight Rider but other things too

Hi! The LED strip plugs into your 12v battery on the car. It comes with an RF remote controll to turn on or off. As for the phone and app they communicate with the tesla via bluetooth.

Hey Diego. How do i make the sound come through the model s speakers. I am not sure how to connect the mobile app with the tesla in car browser. I am not following how to do that. Why do you even need the car browser on?
Ahmed R 786 hi connect your phone via Bluetooth to the car. For both both phone and audio playback and that should get you KITT on speakers! Then have Have fun with the folks. Check out my live demo at a Tesla leadership summit In CA.
Diego Cardenas The phone is connected via bluetooth to the tesla. But every time i open the phone kitt app my car makes a phone call to my number. Kitt app audio cannot be heard on the phone or the tesla. Also what is the purpose of the tesla car browser? How do you integrate that to the phone app?

Craig Zupan for CarPlay you need a set of stringent rules for the App to be CarPlay compliant, and this will never fly with Apple.

Ios has broken some functionality. Un intall the APP and re install then DO NOT ALLOW THE MIC to be used via bluetooth

I understand if someone actually rebuilt a Pontiac from 1982 and did actual somewhat functional analog buttons like in KITT. That would also be childish, but there would actually be car mechanic skill to display.
