In Penang, we won't call it curry laksa, it's curry mee and it mix both the bihun and mee kuning
After watching several videos mostly they choosed cheaper one. I think bcus taste bud already "immune" with the taste .. that's why most of them choose low range is the best one .... Sorry if I'm wrong 😅

Murah or mahal, as for me, curry laksa/curry mee MUST have kerang/cockles/see hum, brinjals and long beans and yes, the tauhu pok! And another must have is a dollop of sambal tumis! For a fancier curry laksa, I like it with steamed / blanced chicken ( the Chinese style) then the prawns and hard boiled eggs. I prefer meehoon as it's delicious because it easily soaks up all the delicious curry gravy. As much a fusion of cultures as it is of ingredients, the origins of curry laksa is lost. Never go for hotel or hipster cafes for their curry laksa.
