Hi, you have several types of water pumps. old, new, high, low. You have a new type of engine and you need a high water pump. And what you have now is a low four-cylinder engine. Move the alternator forward. Do not install a 24V converter because it may cause problems. Buy a 12v high-speed starter. If you are going to do brakes, replace the rubber seals with spring ones. two master cylinders for new and two assist cylinders. buy only original parts according to the Z8701.1 engine or the Zetor 12145 brand. This tractor does not have a synchronous transmission. Buy a service book. If you have any problems, I will help you. Regards, Tony.

Hello from Slovakia, first of all im sorry, my english isn't good, but i wanted to comment, because we know these tractors pretty well. The 3 point linkage on these tractors does not have down pressure. The remote, witch is tied into the lifting cylinders works in series with the 3 point hitch, and the 2 other remotes are fully functional up and down. The remote, witch you operate from the right side should have a floating position and it can be fixed to run a hydraulic motor. If you need help with anything specific, I'm happy to help.

that hydraulic for the rear is to lift a plough with the linkage and the wheels on the plough lift the rear end of the plough. the pulley on the front should have a tapered keyed connection onto the shaft

Looks like a rugged, simple tractor. The Czechs make some solid machinery. Zetor online claims to have a parts warehouse in Jacksonville, FL. A place to visit when you are wintering in Florida.

Thank You! I always appreciate your comments. I hope to gain some traction in the next year. I bit off a pretty big project this summer that I'm still pretty unsure of. If I get where I need to be by the end of September I can focus on things I really enjoy.

A neighbour of mine had a 12045 two wheel drive, and it worked ok, it had a delco remy starter on his, but it still had the box under the seat. Those tractors do not have down pressure on the three point hitch, but your 3rd remote on the back i think is for the rear cylinder on a semi mounted plow. And one other thing they have on those is a single speed power shift on the left side of the colume, if you do happen to get it going they sound awesome!

Still hope to get on this tractor but my "hoop building" is taking all my time. Don't lose faith as I'll get on this and am looking for the horsepower and traction to improve my hay productiin.

hello mate, even if you dont get the 121 going it will be a big investment in the long run, people overe here in the uk are going mad for them and im sure if you put it for sale in the uk market then itd sell for some good dosh. the old zetors are bomb proof when they get going and are lovley when done up, you can get heaps of power out of them old engines and even more when theyve been turned up abit, if you decide not to do it up then lay it up under a cover or in a shed , do not wreck it !

Well things are going slower than I hoped. The project behind it- the fabric building is taking my time. Also my adult daughter and wife have been busy showing horses, I cart them around. We will get there though...

Western New York. I'm really excited to get after this tractor 🚜 this summer. Everyone here loves old John Deere and Farmalls etc. Restore them and you have an old tractor. This one will be great to work with!

Yes, I purchased it from a man known for scrap metal. He bought it from a person down on his luck using it to log his property to pay bills (and probably beer)
