The first time I heard this song, I thought it was about the overwhelming anguish felt when one is confronted by irrefutable evidence of their lover’s infidelity.
But then, I read that Yebba’s mother committed suicide about a week after she sang her first original song; causing "My Mind" to take on new meaning representing mental health.
As if the mental illness was taking her mother away 🥺.
Im a new subscriber as of this video , your reaction were my feelings exactly 🥺 Somebody really hurt this woman... Her voice , her wailing it just ripped me up inside . That's a different kind of pain ..and her talent is unmatched !!!! 💕🥺
Our tears during this performance only show how empathetic we are -- just feeling so heartbroken for this poor woman whose man has betrayed her. I would wonder about anyone who could be un-moved by her wailing out her pain in this song, voice quavering at times and even cracking .... and I even noticed at one point her hands were trembling/shaking -- I'm sure because of all the strong emotion she was feeling.

I could feel the emotion from her and could see it effect you , which got to me watching you . There is nothing wrong with you crying over such a song , how could you not ? I have never heard a song so damned emotional in my life , wow , I dont have a clue who she is but I think that song was about a real situation ?? If so , I dont know how she didn't fall apart completely while singing it . I rarely get so emotional but her pain sounded so real and your reaction means you are a good soul !
