As acting Commander of the SVU, Sergeant Olivia Benson is a seasoned veteran of the unit who has seen it all. She is the devil
"You have done that yourself!"
She had paid the price for it and her son will never 👎 want to see her again at all
This boy shot his best friend to protect his mother because she screamed rape. She thought she had a strong case to stay safe. Then when things get rough, she throws her own son under the bus to save face. She was willing to sacrifice not just one, but two innocent lives to make herself safe. And she FORGIVES him because he refused to throw away his own life. She is no mother. She is a monster.
Sidenote: Barba is the BEST!!!
YourGood season 18 I think
That wasn't a mother, that was a monster and the sad thing is her poor son is now going to have to live with the knowing he was tricked into shooting his best friend by his mother. But it was horrible that his mother tried to blame all her wrong decisions on him. Glad he refused to throw away his own life for hers. I hope he and his father get counseling.
What is this episode called?
Paul Bonner highlight
Season 18 episode 10
You know a scene is about to get intense when that score plays
Finally someone who recognizes a score instead of it being a song😭
What the name of score by the way?
Nice to learn thé propre word for that, because I'm a visitor.
name pls im looking for these scores/songs
WOW. This was one of the most powerful episodes I've seen in a while.
Seeing the mother actually try to send her own innocent son to jail was one of the saddest scenes I've seen. Masterfully directed by Mariska!
HAPPY 400th SVU!!
There's been plenty of criminals that needed to go and stay in jail on SVU, but that mother needed to go down hard for blatantly lying and setting up her son into killing one of two boys she was raping.
+polarbear2080
She was no psychiatrist, and she sure as Hell was no mother. She was nothing more than a complete monster.
I just watched S17 EP 23 fantastic episode...she directed too
BoggessBroadway she might have been his mother but she wasn't actually his mom
@@PowerRangersandAnimeUnite She is worse than Dolores umbridge and Bellatrix Le strange

andy and the fact she didn’t deny it anymore by saying “that’s not true!” Or “I was actually raped”
@@minteaskullz let's you know she knows Olivia is right
A
Olivia: Nicole, you are the devil
The way Olivia looks at the courtroom at the end like “how could a mother do this to their own son....”
A very crappy one.
She looked like that the entire episode!
Omg. She's a sociopath. She made him kill someone and SHE forgives him??? Wow
Yeah she'll say anything to save face, because that's just how narcissists operate
NARCISSISM IN A NUTSHELL
Craziest episode I've seen in SVU but I love to see that arrogant lawyer get beaten by ADA Barba in every case in court 👏🏽👍😊☝️⚖️
Who is the other? I don't mean Barbar
john buchanan i believe (not sure of spelling)
chunxiaqiudong Thank you. I have forgot this name😂
He was the best one out of all of them, I am so glad that Alexandra Cabot left
Actually barba lost a case kinda against Buchanan. A jury found his client guilty, then he asked the judge to change it to innocent and the judge just decided ' WELP SURE' and the rapist got off with no punishment at all and the victim was expelled from hudson. the whole thing that judges can do that is bs.
God, this woman makes Cersei Lannister seem like a good mother
True
Cersei Lannister IS a good mother. But she is a horrible person overall.
She is a good mother...
Just not a good character
@@cordeliayt5868 How is there a difference?
Sheridan Mann
Because someone can be an evil person but still love their children enough not to just throw them under the bus to save themselves like this mother did in the episode.
"No Matter what you have done" she still try to put blame on her son! Disgusting
She can go to hell, and she will be locked up and she will never get out.
“All I did was pork him! I didn’t do it!”
She raped not one but two young boys and then tricked her son into shooting one of them by crying rape…and once she realized that she was screwed her and Buchanan tried to paint Luke as a cold blooded killer who shot his friend Trey because he found out about her raping two of his friends and that somehow he was jealous I mean what she did to those boys was bad enough but the moment she threw her own son under the bus to save her own skin made me sick
It's horrible. I've always been so loved by my own mother that sometimes I forget how selfish and awful some mothers can be. When I was little I used to think that all mothers were loving and good like mine. It breaks my heart that some people don't have a mother who truly loves them.
I had the same perception! At least of mother-daughter dynamics. Then I got to college and discovered girlfriends who not only didn’t get along with their moms, disliked them/weren’t close at all. It’s truly a blessing to have that 🙌🏾
@@Kadasberry11 What I find even more bizarre is how any mother could hurt her own child. It seems impossible. I can comprehend unfit or struggling mothers hurting their kids without realizing it but to deliberately hurt them? How can any parent bring themself do that?
Amen
I thought the same thing I thought that my mom hit me because she loved me but as I got older and more obedient she would still go off at me for things like spilling something
Yeah, I used to assume all families were like mine, too.
Reality hits you hard when you’re old enough to understand the hell that some poor children go through.
My mum and I fight sometimes, because she’s bossy and stubborn and I’m also stubborn. But she is a fantastic mum - she just has flaws. She’s a human.
But I was lucky. We were not rich. But we had a great childhood, my brother and I. 😊
Takes advantage of underage boys, manipulates her son to shoot his friend, tries to blame the son for the whole thing, and then tries to say she forgives him when he told the truth. That is not a mother is any sense.
She's very narcissistic.
She only cares about herself
When Benson says “no Nichole...you did that all on your own” omg gave me shivers!!! 👏🏼
Detective Benson 💕
Benson showed her!
I love the other characters but Olivia and Elliott are the main reasons why I watch the show
It is sad that Olivia has been through the most crap out of all of the team members on the svu squad
First damn good directing from Mariska and second I miss Barba, he was the best DA.
Ian R. Baker I'm pretty impressed with carisi now.
Barba left???:((((
@@lalauma1 Same
Seeing how that woman DARED to call herself a mother makes my blood boil! I'm glad she went to Jail. Were it up to me, she'd be in hell!
She was more a total monster than a mother and/or psychiatrist combined.
True!
The messed up part in our society; is that mothers like this, are becoming more visibly the norm. The damage that they create, becomes generational. Mothers are the first person, that a child bonds with. They are the first teachers, and the blueprint for most romantic relationships; that a boy has. So when mother messes their child's head up; it contributes to the monsters that the rest of society has to deal with.
Raymond Weston "more visibly the norm" where tf did you get that from
Raymond Weston bro your true teller god bless you keep up the good work❤
One of the best episodes of SVU in awhile. Everything about it was great. A few episodes this season have been predictable but not this one, Mariska Hargitay has an eye for directing as well
Mariska is such a talented actor. The pain and emotion she is able to display is seriously impressive
she is an actress not actor
Who eles is obsessed with L&A SUV
@@jjthomas9171 I'm just obsessed just with Barba.
I did
@Stan Mustard I know right
i only just started watching it but i’m already addicted
Not the same without Cabot.
That episode was really deep and emotional at the same time!
This is my fave scene from this episode. What a sociopath! Tried to set her own child up and didn’t blink an eye. All she did was gaslight him over and over.
No words can describe how unbelievably wrong it was what that woman did & what she was still doing! That sickness Luke’s father was talking about that his ex-wife had, I’m guessing there’s no cure for that is there?
There isn't. My father and brother have it. It truly is a nightmare
What your dad and brother manipulated people into killing minors who they statutory raped!!!? Sorry I know It’s none of my business with all due respect sorry very sorry.
I think it’s being Narcissistic... unfortunately there’s no cure for that.
No cure for Sociopathic tendicies
i mean there is....its called death
Reminds me of my mother. She’d die before accepting blame for anything.
Its sad such women exist. My Mum can seem like it at times but when it comes down to it she will not be like this
what a scene!!! Barba was just brilliant!!
The look on Luke's face is one of disgust and anger.
I know right? She doesn't care about anyone but herself.
I hope he never forgets any of this!
Everybody loves Barba and of course Raul Esparza for portraying him so well, but you have to give credit to actor Delaney Williams for bringing up so much hate in us. Great actor.
I totally agree I love Raul Esparza as ADA Rafael Barba, Barba is a very good and I love that all wants justice too and even if you are the worst criminal in the world you need a strong defense during a trial and John Buchanan played Delaney Williams on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit SVU is one of the best lawyers on the show and I love that he always fights for his clients to the best of his abilities.
@@marshaloiscamillephilpotts7245Personally, I would like to see him.Have to defend someone in s v u like calhoun did and Langdon did
I always se him vs Barba and think "boy tough case here we are".
God I miss Barba...
I loved the way that female juror looked at Nicole before saying guilty
She said she forgives him for putting her in jail.He could see through her ridiculous lies. They got the narcissism down pat.
You know it’s bad when Buchanan looks uneasy with his defendant.
That poor kid is never going to be the same again 😔
It wasn't Luke's fault for Trey's death, he was being protective, and I don't blame him, the police, the ADA, and his father don't blame him for it.
@@philipcearley1992 Yeah but unfortunately he may forever be traumatised. For killing his bestie, the fact his mother loves inappropriate relationships with people like him and the fact she was gonna let him go to jail for her and also make it out like he was a case of the Odephius Complex
Who cares
He's better off now that she's out of the picture
Is just me or did her voice get deeper when she said “you convinced my son I’m the “Devil”
That witch is the devil !
Olivia: *_“No, Nicole... You did that all by yourself.”_*
_Mother_ : 😨😶
I'm waiting for the day when it comes out that Buchanan (heavyset attorney) is actually into human trafficking or something. The way he slithers in the way a crocodile does just makes me sick. 🤢
I love Delaney Williams he is a very good actor and he does excellent work as John Buchanan on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit SVU and I love that he will do anything to get his clients off even if they are a nasty, disgusting piece of work like this so-called mother is.
@@marshaloiscamillephilpotts9608 A lawyer is there to provide the best defense their client can get, even if he is as guilty as sin. Because we have seen (many times, and even in this episode) how innocent people can get railroaded.
The defense attorney is beholden to the court to defend his client. That is the price of the system. It is shameful about how money can skew justice, but, as "Dirty" Harry Callahan said, the system stinks but until someone comes along with something better, I'll stick with it.
Barba was the best D.A. ever I miss him
That woman was a monster. She emotionally scarred two boys and caused a couple to loose their child.
Words cannot describe the amount of hurt Luke, Ethan, and Trey’s parents must be feeling.
Sometimes I forget that so many of these episodes are based on real life events. Holy cow!
Oh, and, Esparza as Barba is genius!
I MISS YOU BARBA 😭
He was one of my favourite characters in this TV show. He is sadly missed by a lot of fans.
@@susanmcguire4664 at least we have a promise of an episode with him next season next month !!
This is why we love Barba he don't play crazy👏🏾😭
I have such a love-hate relationship with that defense attorney. He’s a pain when you’re rooting for prosecution, but at the same time I’d want him on my team if I needed a defense attorney 😅
I miss Raul
Sadly been through this as well. Someone you thought you could trust does something disgusting and evil, there's all the proof in the world it was them, but they gaslight you and say they "forgive you" for testifying or speaking out against them. To prideful, arrogant, stupid, or insane to admit what everyone already knows.
One of their most powerful episodes.
ADA Barbra 💖💖 legit will always be the best!!!
Of course I’ve seen all the other SVU episodes & love all the other lawyers but omg Barbra is just amazing !
Barba!!!
Rebeca 3.1416 ,BARBAAAAAAA IS OUR HEROOOO
The Franklin's would forgive Luke Keller for killing Trey, because Luke was protecting his mother, but he was completely unaware of his mother's henious crimes.
one of best episodes of svu i just love this episode❤
I know what you're feeling Olivia and don't ever second guess yourself, EVER!! You are a good mother and a good parent and that's why Noah loves you now, always, and forever 😊🙌🤗❤
No matter what HE’S done? She’s crazy.
Nicole: you have convinced my son I'm the devil
Obi Won: you have done that yourself
I could sleep, or I could keep watching clips. 😁
This episode was crazyyy
im crying again svu is a sure fire way to always make me literally die crying
Perfect time when he said "luke keller" I literally died of laughter 😂
Brought tears me to my eyes because this is what my mother wouldve done given the right circumstances. Doesnt help when she resembles her too.
*Love this series! Law and Order is great!*
Luke Keller's (Aaron Sanders) personality is very like *Nathaniel* in Nathaniel, *Brix* in Brix Clark, *Aiden* in Blood Brothers, *James* in Twin Rivals and *Archie* in Unbreakable Bond. They are all sensitive and tearful kids/teenagers.
What are you even talking about
One of the most craziest episode I’ve ever seen,,in the history of SVU,,ever
They should've dragged her out the second she tried to talk to Luke. Also it's Left-tenant lel
Great Jamie Lieutentant
Not in America it isn't.
Great Jamie I’m sorry it’s what? (I don’t mean to sound rude sorry if it comes off that way)
When i watched this Episode. I was shocked 😧 and surprise that a mother would do this. She claims that she loves her son and she lie that she was ashamed of having a secret relationship with his best friend. That is a addictive and manipulative woman that doesn't deserve to be called a phycologist. Worse! She doesn't even earned the right to be a mother.😢
I adore Barba!
Good man for standing up to your Mum.👍
favorite episode 💙
I love all of the law and order series
The one episode I couldn't bare to bring myself to watch..
this was a really good episode
this episode ripped me apart but it’s still one of my favorites to this day. triggering as all hell.
I love the line live serves to that mother n the way she delivers it
I *looove* Esparza so much😍😅
I love this man
I guess not all mothers know best

@@gahyeonsupremacy It's called motherly love from season 18×10

I LOVE THIS SONG.
This episode had a whole bunch of twists
And a bunch of twits
There was something off about her from the very beginning, the end was so damn satisfying
That was such as dramatic entrance
One of the best tv series ever
Law and Order
Law and Order: SVU
Law and Order: Trial by Jury
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
Law and Order: UK
I love the very good Christopher Meloni, Dean Winters, Richard Belzer, Dann Florek and other very good actors and actresses who have been apart of and made a lasting impact on Law And Order SVU, I miss them all but the person made the most and lasting impact on the show is Mariska Hargitay who plays Captain Olivia Benson for the past 20 years, she is the heart and soul of the show and also it's moral authority, I believe it wouldn't have lasted 20 now 21 seasons without her, I love her, she is the best.
Which episode is this?
That kid is gonna need some help
You may be his mother, but you are most likely not his mom any more.
“Can I buy you a drink?”
“No I just want to be with Noah”
Mission failed.
1000x aura when the son came in the court
Barba is my fav counselor even tho he not rlly apart of SVU
Pfft,
That "I love you" bit was not out of love, it was stated She is narcissist so her ego demanded she not walk away without some small victory. What better way for that to happen then to make someone feel guilty about sending her away. And who better then her own son who she tried to send to jail.
Also Is anyone concerned about his paternity? I mean she craved underaged boys so show of hands on then possibility she got pregnant by one of her victims?
I wanted to tell Luke not to look back at her while he was walking out. She doesn’t deserve to have any sign from him that she can still control him.
What's scary that there are people out there and they r parents too. This is one reason I support right to choice for abortion issue. Some people should not be parents at all.
Пусте there are bad people who shouldn't have kids who find a way to adopt too.
@Rhiannon Doesn’t mean we should ruin the chance at life of the fetus.
Just because awful people have the option to abort a baby doesn’t assure they will. Bad people want kids too.
What does. Abortion have to do with this 🤦
olivia looks so pretty in white, she should wear lighter colors more often
This is one of a few episodes (yes it’s fictional but still lol) where I was genuinely pissed off.
If you have a narcissistic mom you probably have heard a similar speech. I know I did many times when I had the audacity to try to be my own person
