I’still wait till promods gets updated along with Coast to coast , Alaska NTTF , Midwest etc probably after the release of Nebraska , can’t wait to fire it up again after 2 months of silence
I havent for a while so did last night and the change is incredible and to think this is the begining of the graphics engine changes is exciting. UI is cool too. I think I will install ATS again as well and buy Nebraska.

I did last night too and the changes were pretty big I just need to wait for some mods to get updated sadly.

"Unless if it's for making better" - that is 'somehow' expected, isn't it?
They're now gonna be reworking SoCal (Southern California) which includes the second largest city in the U.S. this will probably take a while.
It won't, the problem with Phase 3 is that mappers were taken from the rebuild team to help finish Montana and Texas and then the rebuild team had to be created again with a new lead, they are working on Phase 4 right now but San Diego and Los Angeles will take a lot of work to get done.

I know Phase 3 took 1 year to complete due to the city’s and new content
The lane assist function, especially the lane keeping support, would be better to replace it with lane centering

I just have one thing on 1.49 I still had some lag spikes at times but could still somewhat run the game but on 1.50 it is almost unplayable It ope ns and has not crashed which is good but the lag is intense and makes the game almost unplayable the game freezes at almost every frame.

@@MrParis215 that won't save you, the issue is with the game itself, not your hardware.

The sound got worse in the 1.50 beta (the sound became like a DJ), and the official version was released without any fixes.
The problem didn't occur until 1.49, so it's obviously gotten worse with the 1.50 update.

Now with LKAS, the whole sensing package is almost complete. Hopefully, the radar cruise has been fixed so it doesn't randomly slow down with nothing in front. All that's left is steering headlights.

Here are some things that still need to be done in the game (Google Translate):
1° You should increase the rendering distance of objects, trees and mountains, it's clear that these things suddenly appear on the screen, it's a bit annoying.
2° American Truck's artificial intelligence seems more stupid than Euro Truck's, they brake suddenly in front of us; They brake too much when they are going to take an exit from the highway... they hit each other when the highway is narrowed.
3° The criterion for sleeping has to be just getting into the space, because when you have a very large trailer that is difficult to maneuver, it becomes impossible to adapt it to the space, making it impossible to sleep.
4° The fine for driving while tired is meaningless, how does the police officer know I'm tired?

#3 To be able to sleep in difficult positions, simply unsaddle the trailer and get it back when you wake up... that's how I always do it.

You’re fined for exceeding your allowed hours. Truckers must keep logs, with so many hours allowed for driving and for rest periods. With gps it’s easy to verify whether you exceeded your hours. It’s not just about being tired, it’s the law.
@@jarekstorm6331 Hmm... I see, here in Brazil it is customary for truck drivers (not all) to use drugs to stay awake and finish their work faster.
This all new interface is nice, but I think some people would want the old one. Anyways, it needs to be polished, once started there is no stop button for the radio or music playerm, it only pauses, so there's no way to get back to in game background music. Also I thought ETS2 1.50 would bring the electric Renault Truck, I guess I expected it too early. BTW, I hope that also means we will get the Tesla Semi here?

@@MrParis215 throwing more power at it won't fix the issue, it's the game itself that's the issue, you'll still see the issue even with a 4000 series.

Was playing at a steady 60fps before.. now it's avg. 15fps.
It's the update, not the hardware.

How is the performance? Since the game came out it has become more and more demanding. and in the last big update in 1.40 with the lighting improvement it was very noticeable.
I also hope you consider adding the International Durastar or Prostar trucks in future updates.
It's actually become a bit smoother with a bit more FPS for my 2600X 1060GTX, but milage may vary. I feel the Depth of Field option gives a bit of a hit for not much benefit, and I turn mirrors down a bit, but overall it feels a bit better than 1.49!

Can y’all make where the antenna and mud flap fly back when we on the highway? On in general
Does anyone else have problems with stream deck controls? I tried returning to the game after a couple years away and all my custom controls options were wiped out and replaced with the "default" control setup made by SCS specifically for the steam deck. The problem is that it just doesn't work, as in you press buttons and nothing happens. I want my old control setup back but the new control system is broken to the point that it doesn't recognize my inputs when I try to pick which buttons I want to use when setting custom controls.
Shouldn't break previous version modded trucks, right ?

Greetings SCS, thanks for the video. With this new Ats update 1.50 I have a problem with the game that at the time of playing I am doing the route with the truck and it is not going at the normal speed, it starts to get between slow and fast and it is quite tedious and the strange thing is that with 1.49 That didn't happen to me, I don't have a Gamer PC but 16GB of Ram is quite good and the disk is solid 512 and as I told you before it didn't happen to me. Some of my buildings and road markers and lamp posts are pink now. Can someone assist me with this? Never happened before, already removed the mods that had the red exclamation point. Thx for any and all help.
Looking forward to more tuning for the Peterbilt 389 like there was for the W900. Perhaps in the next millennium there will be... 🤷♂

Traffic was fine for me on ATS after the update. I’m gonna have to go check out the European roads soon, cheers!
