- Can looking back on the past help or hinder us? For many people, that can be sort of a complicated question. And in this video, I struggle with moving on from a very important part of my past. Is this a dilemma that can be worked out with the Sides? Or are the workings of the heart just too enigmatic? Hope you enjoy!

I feel bad for Virge. While they were in Patton’s room, he was having an anxiety attack. Only Logan noticed but then left. Not even Patton, the side who accepted Virgil from the start and is basically a father figure to him noticed.
Logan asked if he was okay tho?
Patton didn’t really notice because he was the one that was sad and he was probably caught up in the memories.
Patton pretty much warned Thomas from the beginning that going to his room might make Thomas more iffy about the present since he is the core to all of his feelings. So he was with Virgil in that sense.

Patton looked so depressed and when everyone looked at him he immediately straightened up and smiled. That made me real sad and just reminded me how much I do the exact same thing.

Rewatching the video I realized that the sides were putting some pressure on Patton to go to his room like he even tried to warn Thomas about how he isn't just happy feelings. He's morality, Patton is how Thomas looks at situations and how he feels about it, but he doesn't control feelings in general, he's just the receptor of what is happening. Like anxiety alerts him when Thomas is feeling anxious, scared, paranoid, etc. It makes my blood boil when they basically trampled over his Warning❕
they all have the tendency to not listen to each other. ALL of them have had their moments of either not being listened to or not listening to someone else. it always makes me blood boil just a tad every time I see it, though I understand why that's the case.

Virgil wasn't. He said "Thomas are you sure about this?" And said "I have a bad feeling about this." Dude was not pushing to go in there. They just didn't listen to him either. All pretty in character.

Virgil covered his mouth when he lied about anxiety worsening because he hates lying due to all the association with Deceit and whatnot. It all makes so much sense now looking back.

Darkvoid 297 there are better ways to go about saying that. While we may have had different interpretations, no answer is inherently wrong. Unless the creator has outright said what the meaning behind something is, it can be interpreted in many ways.

Why is no one talking about how weird Roman is acting? He’s sorta acting as if he’s being controlled by Janus. Every time he gets rejected he said it was a joke, and he always pushed Thomas to lie. Idk, he seemed weird
YEAAAH! It might be because he is in denial, and that's what Janus really represents
Unless Thomas confirm it, I doubt this theory is true. Roman is just acting weird because he is affected by Thomas feeling.
Actually I saw there was this video where they were theorizing about this and they basically pick out every time he does somethung weird and then explains why he wouldn't do that and then usually hiw you can guess that it's Janus instead

They mainly mentioned the things Janus tends to mess up when portraying the other characters. Like how he exaggerates their tendencies that he is actually aware of and seemingly portrays Roman by basing certain things off of Remus. Since Janus knows Remus far better than Roman. The fact that he can't play a recorder or sing like Roman would. Also the "eccentricities" line in part 2 with "Roman" looking pointedly at Virgil kind of implying: "You accepted him with all his emo darkness, why can't you accept me too?" It was a good video and it really convinced me.

At 10:55 Thomas literally says : 'i talked about my immagination, all the things that i could do with it... Look! this episode sort of broke my heart, it was the starting of people not listening to logan. near the end has more evidence but if you haven’t watched it I recommend you do, this series is amazing

At the beginning of series Logan was more inspired. He felt free and happy. He smiled more.

Patton’s room causes Thomas and him to feel better and be happy, so I feel like patton kinda hates his room because he wants to be sad every once in a while and not always happy pappy Patton so he just avoids his room and sits somewhere else (idk)

Like Patton’s you can hear the smile and it’s really warm, Roman’s is more boisterous and he always sounds like he’s announcing something and Logan’s voice is kind of gravelly and monotonous but VIRGILS VOICE IS LOWER AND SOOFT Thomas is such a talented bean
Yeah, he's *so* talented! He's amazing at playing his characters, and all of them are so different from each other. He could probably make an episode without any video, and we would still be able to understand the story because they all sound so unique. Not only are their voices unique, but the words they use, and the ways they say them are very individual.

I tend to listen to videos play while I do something else. I can almost always identify who is who just by the tone and pacing, even phrases and speech patterns. Thomas is talented beyond belief
There’s one part in the newest episode where Deceit does an impression of Virgil, and it always makes me think, “Wow, that impression sounded just like Virgil” before I realize yeah, he’s just doing the voice he does for Virgil. He’s a really talented voice actor.

Ok so im rewatching all of these and when virgil lied about his anxiety worseing there was an echo like Janus was also saying no before Virgil covered his mouth. 😟😮
Yeah, just a cool little thing- each of the dark sides has some kind of vocal manipulation; Virgils voice doubles/echos, Janus can prevent the other sides from speaking, and Remus can muffle the other sides voices and speak directly to Thomas.
I'm rewatching them too and looking at more of the little details and that's a really good observation.
That's just an interesting way that Virgil's anxiety makes him heard.

I know everyone is worried for Virgil but i feel so bad how many few people are actually acknowledging just how sad Patton's situation was in this episode. He constantly feels like he needs to fake a smile for the others, when he tries to give his opinion he's brushed to the side, and even recently he has the constant pressure of having to know what to do because he's Thomas's morality. I understand virge has stuff going on too, but i feel like Patton's problems are usually overlooked and that just made me really sad :(
Completly agree with you! Patton and Roman are just as affected by Thomas mental state then Virgil. All the sides behavior will always depends on Thomas mental state.

My mother then banned us from playing Monopoly.
It seems like Virgil may have the best hearing of the sides. He always flinches the most at loud noises and even snapped his fingers once or twice after an outburst from Logan as if to check if he'd gone deaf. But then the latter could probably be chalked up to dramatic effect and the former to being regularly on edge, and also he sits between Roman and Logan, who are decidedly the loudest...Whichever way, I find it fantastically entertaining.

The reason Virgil has the best hearing is because he's literally anxiety. When you have anxiety, all your senses are heightened and you're a lot more freaked out by sudden, loud noises than if you had little or no anxiety.
