Wenger is still a legend
Jhardwork Pays off - Of course he is. Legends never die, and nor will the History of what Arsene achieved at Arsenal.
Wenger is a joke. 14 year's since his last the Premier League title..
Yeah, he completely changed English football at the time.
Jhardwork Pays off your right
Long live Wenger, totally missed,Wenger boys forever xx
Wenger is criminally underrrated. Only manager to ever go 38 games unbeaten in the premier league era. Deserves so much more respect
Keita and Fabinho Apologist wenger was absolute class
Wenger is underrated because it's been 14 years since his last Premier League title. He's only good at winning FA Cups.
+Run Ronaldo Run #THEBESTINTHEWORLD which are a massive cup in the uk
Eh the FA cup has kind of lost importance to the more larger clubs who are going for the European titles. Still good to have, but for the fact to get something.
+flowonthego no, it's a massive cup for pep and other top teams as well as EVERY SINGLE other team in English 11 tiers of football.
Keown has such fascinating stories.
3:00 Rio has no clue what he's saying! That same defense got us the 12th position before Wenger and that defense was taking its last breaths and Wenger revived their careers with his revolutionary ideas and philosophy + He's trying to say he didn't build a core, he was gifted one. What about the invincibles he made? It's in his best interest to belittle Arsenal's Manager's achievments while he's supposed to be a professional!
Who can forget he coached a backline of Lehmann, Eboue, Flamini, Senderos and Toure to the CL final without conceding a single goal.
Nah he’s right. That defence was always top quality. They just had poor midfielders in front of them after Graham was sacked. Once we signed Vieira we improved immensely he was the missing ingredient. Then Petit, Overmars and Anelka made us world class
Everyone going on about Wenger inheriting a great back four, which is true, but the Invisible Team were ALL his signings lets not forget that. Yens, Campbell, Cole, Lauren, Toure!!!
invisible ? Invinceble?
@@gotgot4 Invincible* lol
A great manager has ability to make sure all big egos play together as team if it was just about big names then why England golden generation never won anything that's probably because they never had a coach like Wenger
Bergkamp was signed before Wenger arrived...
@@marcofurst5720 yes. Bergkamp is part of the great Arsenal Backline we will never forget.
Bruh I miss Wenger so much
Wenger forever a legend.
Keone.. what a great guy... should be part of the Gunners staff team.
Wenger kept out the greats so stunted inspiration for younger players.
GET HIM BACK AT ARSENAL! WENGER IN!!!
bugger of to spurs
Graham...wenger....emery...
Forever ARSENAL
I look forward to seeing what Emery can do but I do miss Wengerball. I miss the style.
Arsenal will never find a better manager that Wenger ...
Yes they will. It was said that herbert chapman revolutionised professional football as well and then wenger came along. Just give it anither 60 years. :D
@@James-st9uu smart and cheeky comment
george graham. far better achievement without any money. i agree, his last 2 years in the league didn't work. to much game plan concentration on ian wright.
Wenger never got the backing of the stupid owners financially and yet we still made top 4
no, other teams, bar the usual suspects of manu, city and chelsea only started big spending after wenger stopped. pool spend a lot but had mediocre managers and were some time ...a little bid unlucky
Really enjoying hearing them talk. I can't believe I just discovered these clips. The conversations they have here are fantastic. Only Gary and Keane (occasionally Hasselbaink and Evra) are well spoken, informative and seasoned with flare. But I feel like all these guys here are all that way, they're all speak well and very intriguing in their own way.
David Brent back at it again.
and since wenger gets no credit for the defense, how many of his back line were in 2004?
Amazing Mind Set 🙂👍
The more and more interviews and changes that come to light about Wenger and his man management at the beginning of his tenure makes me respect him more and more. Sure his latter years were somewhat underperforming but like Keown and Rio said, Wenger inherited an airtight defense that could play on autopilot. Wenger was not a defensively oriented coach and as such his latter years suffered due to that, but by God he treated us to some of the most beautiful attack minded football the world has ever seen. Hopefully Emery can hold onto Wenger's attacking players and mentality while also shoring up the defensive and mental pitfalls the current squad has for another couple of years.
as i said on numerous occasions, arsène wenger should have given the sack after the psv games of 2007.
2008 was a last hurray, but the inept behaviour of clichy, due exactly to wengers inaptitude of drilling discipline in his players, during the 2:2 draw against the brummies, should have closed his file at the club. would have been better for everybody.🤷🏻♂️
people nowadays dont wanna be treated like a superman, they wanna be wonderwoman.
They dont make them like keown no more...
Arsene's biggest mistake was the fact that he didn't leave early... had he done that he would've still be considered as a top manager and he would've won more trophies with other teams.. Well, he loved Arsenal and he was also too stubborn, and he doesn't like to lose so he took one challenge after the other until he lost many fans,
unfortunately.
Yeah he should have left right after ending the trophy drought
Perfectly summed up bro.. 🤘
I think he made the right choice. He manages what he's passionate at, and we appreciate him by hopefully putting a statue in front of the stadium. He is a legend for many people. The world. Might not remember but us Arsenal fans will always know his name and fame
👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah.. but please name a manager (apart from ferguson) who after 5 years at a club still able to revive the club to win the league? 1998 win, after 4 years he manage to motivate them to win again in 2002, then 2004. And even challenging for title in 2007, 2010 only because stadium debt, arsenal can not win title, because they have to sell theor best player. even in his last 4 years still manage to win FA cup..Mourinho after 3 years at chelsea and they not even in top 6, pep never manage a club more than 4 years, poch struggled when spurs need to be prudent to pay new stadium.. and even ferguson didnt have to be prudent during his tenure
Jürgen Klopp. I just named a manager.
True but managers aren't given as much time nowadays.
@@chiemekaohajionu7068 He is astounding but his squad cost 900 Million. Also, Barca, Chelsea, Man City and Real Madrid did not come and removed his biggest star every season. Well, Coutinho left but Mo Salah, Firminhi and Van Dyke remained there year after year.
I feel like superman
People who say Van Djik is the best defender ever have no Idea who Martin Keown and Rio Ferdinand are.
good ebening
Rioch doesn't get enough credit. In hindsight he was a good transitional figure between Graham and Wenger in that he had Graham's characteristics but liked to play a more passing game.
I reckon Wenger will be back at Arsenal as caretaker manager before the end of the season
And Henry will become the new striker in january, with a midfield of Cazorla , Wilshere and Coquelin
Arsenal was good under Wenger. But they had problems with financial issues.
Offcourse Emirates Stadium Loan debt to be paid over the years on top with restrictions on transfer and wages back in the day's was the big issue
Superman he is
I saw him fly behind Ruud van Nistelrooy
On a side note
Bould out
Keown In
keown is just as clueless; may sound like a serious professional but some of his tactical insight is appalling, plus he was wenger in
tbh i wouldnt take either of them, i'd love to have Terry, Rio, or Cannavaro come in for a couple seasons to teach the lads proper defending
Jst bcz arsenal lost a game doesnt mean we want wenger back .yh he is a legend but not the guy we want now if emery is not able to reach champ football then sack and try get allegri and kewon can still talk about his love of wenger.
Stopped watching when Ferdinand spoke. Talk about United! Let Kneown speak about Arsenal.
Hmm... I’m starting to wonder, what on earth was in those pills he was popping!
Yet he couldn't make any recent players feel like superman
they maybe felt too much like superman
These people need to stop talking about Graham...
We need Brendan Rodgers as our coach at Emirates!! Unai Emery is the epitome of a clown!!
Rio is a rubbish pundit honestly
