LOL you gotta be kidding! What pointless crap Rowan writes. He rides on cliches in every song without a line of genuine feeling or truth that arrests one's attention and hangs in the memory after the sunshine enema of applause for the solos. Egad, and then we have to suffer through a guitar solo that sounds like a cardboard box with rubber bands for strings.
I don’t know if I’d put Pete in the same category as Dylan and Hunter, but he sure is great, not to mention easy on the ears. McCartney, Lennon, JD Souther, Paul Simon, Bruce Cockburn, and many others are way up there.

mmm.. kind of surprised that this was the best Pete could put together. PIckups on the Banjo and the Martin gotta go for starters. The bass player and mando player were decent. You just cannot do this music proper using a 5-string with that tinny pickup tone as well as playing the Martin with pu's. It just ruins it for me. This is not Newgrass Revival or even Travelin McCoury's...
+MrJDP1974 I agree, but the voice, the foundation of Peter's work on stage is incredible! The musicians don't have a lot of control asto what comes out of that soundboard. He carries this crew beautifully, I'm guessing he played with whoever was available. Thanks for posting tripod, you've got some great recordings !
+Al S sorry that MR. TECHNICAL is so worried about the soundboard...try using your ears, and watch the smile that this music brings..who u tryin to impress..this is absolutely CRACKLIN..i feel sorry for that poor sac that worries so much about the "pickups"
