So even the pros make weird noises when they're trying to not die.
IAAOOH!
Christian Stout am i the only one that screams when i hit a pebble??? XD
Yeah
Wyatt the random YT yes
Hes not a pro
4:05 "You know it might look easy"
Um no it doesnt look easy at all, at all.
Ricky Nuom *riding bike at 40mph thought a rocky trail*
its enough to get the adrenaline flowin pretty good though! And to think I have a prototype build in mind, for this very thing.
He wasn't even going 'race speed' like what dude?
Ricky Nuom he was talking about going into the other section (not the rocks) listen
Its actually exciting
**gives commentary while riding a bike at 80kmph**
how do you bold on youtube comments?

I have a mountain bike, and thought I was a cyclist.
I was clearly mistaken.

+sixstanger00 XD
+sixstanger00 How many broken bones?
Henry Alexander Mariño Avila
None.....so far.
+sixstanger00 Yeah, I've a mountain bike too.
I don't go over terrain nearly as bad as this.
That speed...man.
This guys a beast
affirmative
he is o.O
"okay so here we go!"
*jumps onto death track*
"...a bit wet. some fans here." 😂
This guy Mountain biking and talking at the same time...I can barely watch TV and talk at the same time
+zach blank lol :D
Zach B same!
299 km/h of likes! '0'
6:43 that speed was unbelievable
Niice
5:29 Now that is how i sneese
+InfiniteBurst vasja
Lmao, true.
5:54
sounds like hes a goddam ninja
6:49 This is how I sneeze
Talking like that while riding that fast is amazing
Wrong way = WHACTA!
+TEOG! Studios lmfao
I love this guy, he is just AWESOME! I mean, I would ride this track with not even half speed but he even talks while riding! what the fuck xD
I know right he is cool
I am out of breath just watching that!
Frickin same
that looks like a ton of fun. i'm pretty sure i would have wreaked my shoulder on one of those tree's in that forest section.
Hell I would have fallen around one of those first turns lol
WillyumV3 thought about that too when he was talking about about slick rocks. haha
I would be dead after First turn.
Nicklas Jensen Skaar over the handle bars face plant. haha
Holy shit I want to do this ...without crashing
right
+Slick Persian That's the tricky part.
Yup
Crashing's part of the learning curve unfortunately, pretty much the only thing stopping me from taking the bull by its horns (no pun intended lol) other than the fact you need about 2 grand to buy/build a rig safe and strong enough to tackle a course like this
Heard that
this is what life is all about
+Taurtollo no
yes
Agreed
agreed
Yep.
Trying to run the course without dying horrifically.
how the hell do i learn this without killing myself the first try?
cristobal caro ease your way into it and advance as you go.
cristobal caro condoms
cristobal caro just keep your weight back like on a dirt bike and try not to force the bike too much, you'll be fine. Start on some beginner trails and you'll see how fast you react to stuff when the adrenaline starts pumping. Number one rule, for me at least, keep weight on pedals and don't lean on your handle bars, especially when going on a downhill.
Just go it slow. That's the reason why i drive a bianchi 😂😂😂
cristobal caro there's always gradients
This guy is awesome and hilarious.
That was awesome.
Interesting how he said "it looks easy but..." when I was just thinking the exact opposite
how can he speak when he rides my god? this guy is a beast
Probably a pro/very experienced
"i wil leave the singing for next time"
talking the whole way down was impressive enough
Please!! How chilled can a rider be while riding downhill. This guy is a machine! Awesome!
damn, its amazing how fast your brain would have to be working to keep you on track! This is incredible! talking AND biking at such high speeds in such an amazing place!
Honestly this is one of my favorite series on the redbull channel
damn, dude hit that nitrous something wicked around 6:02. love these videos!
Gear shift but lol
Ah life. The coolest looking video game that I am not going to play.
I thought I was a pretty good cyclist until I saw this.
Pretty good =/= world champion
Hahaha most downhill videos have some seriously intense music to amp up the vibe. Talking over the whole thing while riding made this so much more real! It was hilarious I loved it!
Wow. I forgot to breathe for 7 minutes.
Wicked - I would love to do that course - Maybe a little bit slower though...
Definitely slower, yes. :)
Lol shortest 8 minutes ever!
Amazing trail and love his commentary. He is a great rider and makes it look easy.
This is awesome haha. Instead of yelling "FUCK!" hes like "This is good fun." Like Im sure hes having fun, but you can hear in his voice little streaks of panic, despite him being professional.
+SkiesOfmaY It's more that he's concentrating and the bumps are gonna make his voice sound different anyway
I'm out of breath just watching! Love the casual commentary as he begins too lose and then regain control.
He was like : " hurashauu ! "
I was like : " Bless you ! "
This guy is literally my favorite
"It was a foo fighters song"
*sings tom petty
I love this guy's sound effects.
"Chapang!" "Wazou!" "Yahoohoo!"
xD
"Oh no that was wrong way- WHATCHA!"
This guy is just sooo good
This video is what introduced me to mountain biking, so thanks Claudio
It would be like a dream to ride on this track. I'm sure he makes it look like a cake walk though.
I'm all for trying out new places to bike, but this is a course I'd wear full gear for and take very, very, very slow - in fact I'd probably stop not even halfway down because I would have crashed or just seen how technical it was
I like to take risks here and there, but when I see high risk no reward for majority of the course, I'd be better off looking for another course.. This is some next level riding here as well for how wet that course was
Yea man I'm nowhere near as good as this guy, and he's got some pretty expensive gear, but if I did get to the point that I could, I would tare that course up.
:)
Caleb Clemens sucks to be you i live 65 miles away from that track
Kieran Calderwood
you're so cool.
Caleb Clemens And yet i bet he's never even been on it! lol
This was great to watch, so fast and dangerous
I love this guy's attitude!
so hillarious! The sounds he makes when trying not to mess up cracks me up!
Wow, mad skills! And pretty funny commentary.
He was able to go so fast, in part because it was wet, but not too wet. Love it!
I'm not a biker but that was some great fun to watch.
I want to watch it in 3D. heh
Even a much less technical course is a blast. There are plenty of easy, yet fun courses in Michigan. On the right course, once you try it, you'll be hooked.
Any type of mountain biking is helped greatly if you also do some strength training, as it does involve a bit of upper body strength. If you have limp noodle arms like the typical roadie it still doable but much harder to maintain balance and speed. So it's good to interleave road and MTB rides -- road riding builds endurance and strength as much as MTB'ing, and a little strength training in between makes the MTB easier and more fun.
Plus working all your muscle groups regularly has other benefits.
You know... "Eating right helps you look better in clothes; working out helps you look better naked." ;-)
swiss maniac :D love this guy lol
I just can't believe what my eyes have just witnessed..... simply amazing.
What a ride. Awesome character. What a great on board commentary.
I'm amazed at the sound quality! Does anyone know if the sound is coming from the camera itself or if they are using an external mic?
He has an external mic inside his helmet. If you look closely there is a cable going off his camera :)
Thanks for the reply! Now that I think about it, it was a silly question.
You're welcome. :)
***** yes it was, i now feel dumber for reading such a question.
CUZC0M wasn't a silly question actually.
This guy is crazy! A very good rider but his commentary is hilarious =!
Great video and unreal riding skills! I would have wrecked 1.2 seconds into the run and would never have had to worry about the rest of that brutal course! That was AWESOME!!! Scott
Dude you just make crashing and little almost fails the best! Love your sense of humor keep it up man you are an inspiration!
Wow that was a crazy experience to sense it all as you were flying down that mountain. Holycrap you got some balls! great stuff!!
This looks so fun xD too bad id fall on the first turn LOL
Absolutely epic run!
I love how enthusiastic he is, and all the wow's and yowee's while he's jumping
Looks like a very exciting trail!
Все видео на одном дыхании с открытым ртом. Так я смотрел это видео )
Dude, the speed, mixed with the rider. Loved it... great great skill there. Freakish speed..!
A-MA-ZING! I flinched quite a few times thinking you’d have an off. Incredible bike-handling...
I'm usually into motocross but this is the gnarliest shit I've seen
This ain't nothin compared to some of the trails here in the pacific northwest, USA. Issaquah, Washington's Tiger Mountain trail is one of the top 10, AND classed as a black diamond, merely because its a wet trail and slippery as all hell. There are also plenty of double blacks that would put this one to shame, and interestingly enough, most of em are game trails with some improvements.
the best English fail was "now that was an almost crash" by far
Yup I heard that to 😂
+Annebel Bunt I'm glad you have ears as well
It's hard to speak a foreign language when you're biking at the speed of sound.
to?
Love that this man can have a full convo while riding this track. I struggle to to get from top to bottom on fort William without breaking any bones!
OMG! Goosebumps!
The bike is a Scott Gambler 10.
Is it the Gambler with the new rear swingarm and 650b wheels?
Thomas John Solidum yes.
Dude, is there a good mountain bike i can buy under 300$?
no. not really
Shahzad Khan no
You have my respect. And commentary too. Bad ass dude.
That was FREAKING AWESOME
i love this guy its so intertaining for some reason
If Claudio had his own youtube channel I would subscribe to it 100%!
Nobody:
Him: WOAH! THIS IS **breath** *GOOD FUN*
This is incredible!
Rocking that course!!!
who else hate that you cant see his bike
it felt like he was falling forward the whole time
6:50
This guy is hilarious!!
Oh boy ... I was in tense for the whole trip ... Thanks for the ride.
Why are these vids so satisfying
Claudio Caluori is one of the most hyperactive downhill riders ever!
Disliking this is a crime against humanity no joke
Agreed
08tpage wtf
What why?
Watching this on my spin bike cracks me up (at myself) - what a ride!
Downhill is the favourite part for the mountain bikers thanks for uploading this video...
Does anyone know how he does not fall on those sharp turns? I was amazed by this. I don't think my X-Caliber 6 could do this.
***** It's a basic mtb skill called berm riding (idk if that is what it's actually called). There's a tutorial on how to do it at the Global Mountain Biking Network here in CZcams.
Berm riding is the ability to lean your bike so that the gravity is on the turn ground and does not give the opportunity to slip
***** watch a few videos on what called cornering a bike or as the others have called it beaming. you can easily practice cornering around town which is what i do to practice. also, just watch a bunch of videos on basic mtb skills and pick the skills you feel you want to work on most
allgaming1234
+YazukiGames Well grabbing tyres, leaning in to ride on the shoulder-profile and a good suspension to not be interrupted by bumps ... and a ton of skill.
Start training, it's worth it ;)
I'd have a hard time walking through the foresty part... but on a bike? nope.. nope nope nope nope
Nice pic it makes mine hungry
AirOwnage20 lol
AirOwnage20 Thanks. Mine gets some epic comments. One dude punched his monitor and cursed me out afterwards
lol
AirOwnage20 Ha! I think beyond punching monitors; I brought a swatter.
dude, that trail was so gnarly. shreddin' so hard !
Claudio Caluori you enrich my life considerably. TY. =)
pfff, I can do that easy, hold my beer.
believe it or not. at the end he said he was focusing too much.
That was insane and I love it
I watched this whilst listening to IDM. It was so satisfying. Thanks for sharing this. Nice to see my bonnie wee blip on the world get some terrain
holy shit GODLIKE! how did you not die 78 times? wow
how can someone ride that track and concentrate to talk like that in such detail.. O.o
Beautiful out there!
incredible talent of mountain biking as he talks and rides at the same moment
Biking in very rough section
Cyclist: WAAAAHHUHUHU!
Balls: am I a joke to you?
how does the bike not slip on those turns?
Awesome trail, awesome riding!
This is sooooo satisfying
Any recommendations for a beginner bike including a link to purchase?
Depends on your budget and what type of riding you want to do. downhill like this typically costs more. A good place to start would be buy/sell on WWW.pinkbike.com. their forums will be more useful for bike advice too.
This may be a little late but I have the perfect bike for you. A full suspension Diamondback. Super affordable, and from the reviews it's pretty durable. Here's the link. www.amazon.com/Diamondback-Bicycles-Suspension-Complete-Mountain/dp/B00ODZ58WS
Paul Atre1des
Used bike like was mentioned. I got a 2008 norco shore 1 for 800 off of pinkbike.
***** HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA
I wish I could see more from the other guys perspective
Matching every moment with words, gracious ...
That looked awesome! Top skills.
