Orange is my favourite colour; this specific bike is the first memory of being like "woah that colour is beautiful". Just remembering that now. Incredible. I've also been listening to Wax and Wire by Loch Lomond basically at least weekly since I got an itunes account, now apple music. Our childhoods were really nostalgic. Good times man

Something about this video gets me in my feelings. This was one of the first videos I’ve ever watched on CZcams and something about it always gets me. The music perfectly matches what the video. I am not sure why, but I relate so much to this comment. I was never a big BMX guy, but this video brings back so much nostalgia. Probably because it was one of the first videos I’ve seen on CZcams as well. It is also one of the initial videos that made me interested in making short personal travel videos. The music, the scenery, the tricks, the editing all flow so well

I remember my dad showing me and my brothers this video when it first came out. Everytime I watch it it takes me back to being a child again. Hope I can show my future kids this video.

Yeah ... I agree. The lyricism, and emotional resonance of this one, make it the standout for me as well. It's the music, but I wonder if there is something more, that is striking these harmonics with us. Like, the homecoming piece. Can the riding communicate this? Why not? It is the highest art, like dance. Or Rembrandt. Or Descarte. Or Da Vinci.

Without doubt a modern day Scottish icon, incredible.
This is one of the best works of art I've seen in my life. I discovered the video around 2012, and it even inspired me to buy a mountain bike; not necessarily to do the stunts Danny does but just to ride. Due to health issues I had to quit but I still keep coming back to this video. It's one of the few things I just never get bored of watching and listening to and I thought I'd just write something about it. Big thumbs up to Danny and the creators of the video, it's a timeless masterpiece ✌️
Revisiting this masterpiece as a much older man, watched this the day it came out, still as brilliant as ever. I must be getting soft in my older age, almost brings a tear to my eye watching this in 2022 and reminiscing watching this with my brother when we lived together and immediately being amped to go for a ride afterwards.

Saw this 12 years ago when I was still in love cycling. Went through college and done nursing now in London doing work. Been to Scotland too. Now this day I decided to watch this and saw that the first stunts were done at Scotland. How time flies so fast. How fortunate I am to witness life.

I have come back to this video many times over the years. It is by far the most beautiful video! The music, properly edited to Danny MacAskills moves are damn near perfect!
Ten years ago, one of the most beautiful videos was made. The contrast between the music, the scenery and this crazy-wonderful sport is something that I haven't seen since or before. Thank you Danny for one of the most amazing visual experience I've ever seen. It held in time masterfully and I'm sure I'll be back to watch it again soon.

Been watching this for years since it came out. Finally had a chance to visit Scotland in 2019, including Edinburgh all the way to Skye and even visiting Dunvegan Castle. Best trip of my life especially walking on the very ground that Danny shot this video on. What an experience.
