Everyone who can’t start it, you need to power it first. See the cables leading too the water wheel above the nearby checkpoint? You must first process through the Primary Objective, until you finally loop around and activate the Water Wheel which gives the Water Harp power.
TLDR: Progress the primary objective until you activate the Water Wheel, that gives the harp power

thats the point that makes me hate puzzles on some games. you cant know if you need something on the map other than the area of the puzzle. everytime I face one puzzle on this game I always think: I`m dumb or the game just dont let me do this bc I need something first?

its notes with dashes being no note it is way too over complicated👍
I figured it was the pan dudes flute that was the music. I just couldn't figure out the notes
I thought the written explanation to the side was very confusing I just followed the peg placement visually to get it done right.
do you have to do the whole world to be able to solve water puzzle?? I started at the red trone map21, and no I have done many many of the different locations?
red throne doesn't have the same end boss so you wont have to worry about this its the forbiden grove start

This is bugged for me. :/ Did it exactly as shown, after figuring it out myself. Looked at multiple video guides and written guides, all show the exact same thing I've done. Yet it just goes up and comes down.
You pirated the game you idiot, thats what you get. :) The anti piracy measure wont let you get past the first set of puzzles on either starting world, when it detects a stolen copy.
make sure to press the lever near the area where the actual harp is. I personally can't even figure out how to get there yet tho

Ok, but how would anyone actually figure this out by themselves? Do you follow the musical notes playing? Where is the hint to the solution?
There's a book with the symbols on it with lines and dashes. It's to the left of the platform with the puzzle. Still not the easiest to work out though!
I did it by ear, notes are a scale. Easy to figure out when you know what side is low and what is high, then just follow the tune.
I also play bass so music is a little easy for me to pick up on, but it is doable

@@Noshot812 If you can't figure out 8 notes on a 5 note scale by ear as the song plays behind you on loop, I do not know what to tell you my guy. Avoid games like Myst, Eyes of Ara, Quern, and The Talos Principle then, you would just get too sad :

can you tell me how to get there? is it only your campaign and I should re roll mine?
if you have unlocked every question mark on your map it may not have spawned this time but rather than redoing your entire campaign don't forget you can always just do adventure mode after you've completed a planet so you don't have to do everything all over...this is a seperate instance from your original campaign and will open up on at your world stone once you complete a world

it may be slightly different on your map but i had to go through the new dungeon door and make my way through i believe 2 instances 1 of which was a boss room before i could make my way back to my original place where the harp was but instead i was on the other side and could open the door and pull the lever needed to get through

I'm at this puzzle but every single one of those doors that I've seen multiple playthroughs walk through both the one in the faithless thicket next to the checkpoint and the two right next to the puzzle have been locked

And you can skip the boss by using the Engineer to glitch through the door
My question to this puzzle is: what was the key that allowed someone to solve this the first time?
there is a book inside the building that acts as a guide but unless you knew exactly what to look for on it it was very confusing

I think i messed up on the boss fight i just shot the doe instead of revive and that's it. J didn't even fight a boss.
theres a few different ways to do it each giving a different reward you did siding with the ravager way...you can do the others in adventure mode 👍

If anyone is still having trouble getting it to work try this (from the top row, numbering LEFT to RIGHT 1-5)
5, then skip, 4, then skip, 3 then 4, and finally 1 and skip

Maybe it was just the extreme boredom from this subpar level… but where the hell is this solution explained in game? Guess I completely missed it
its inside the building facing the water puzzle on a book or paper.....it is also very confusing so I left it out😂
