- Welcome back to Assassin's Creed Origins. It's been a while since I've posted some gameplay on AC Origins. I wanted to come back to this game since I now own it on PC. Because the Hidden Blade isn't 100% deadly in Origins 🙃 you need to level it up
@@HereticASSassin Yeah, but that's mainly for captains and brutes. If you progress along with the game, that usually is a problem you don't encounter. The only time it would be is if you're at a fort that's high level or attacking a similar convoy, neither of which you should have any business doing unless you want to die.
@@1597B I know i played Origins several times and thats a thing Vallhalla and the older games truly nailed specially Unity with all those unique Killing animations.

Loved this game, I think stealth needed more assassination animations and more challenging enemy placement, nonetheless it’s a very fun and solid game, looking forward for AC 2020 and hope it’s more like origins and less like odyssey.

It's apparently going to be set in a viking setting. Which means they're probaly going to keep Odyssey's combat, but I wish they'll have a larger focus on stealth.
Taco Lover Person why will ir be similar to odyssey? If I recall correctly, Norse (Vikings) combat focused on using shields,axes,maces etc, meaning shield combat might be brought back to suit the time period therefore it could be more like origins.

Yes true ❗ i miss the old feeling in unity..... the parkour was much better like Origins and Odyssey......... still hope they make it better with the next game and more assassination animations :)

Asshole on the Internet I’ve been binging Odyssey, I need a game to grind because I’m going through some personal stuff and am enjoying it that way. But Origins is a far better game
The best part of playing AC Origins for me was referring to leveling as "building that Bayek"

Second Favorite Assassins Creed Game, and Bayek is my absolute Favorite AC Protagonist. Curse of the Pharaos rounded this Game from 9,0 to 9,5 for me.

NaytNL parry, counter, dodge, disarm.
I preferred the Arkham style fighting.
More focus on hidden blade and assassination animations. Improved AI. But keep the arrows.
Son Goku Black yeah I love the Arkham games, I hope the next arkham gives alot more choice for stealth and combat
@@MegaManC4 Arkham counter based style combat is not compatible with improved AI. Unity and and even the Ezio trilogy and 3 proved it already. It's easy to look badass if you can mash counter in godmode all the time. There has to be a revamped system of counters, make it last minute and close call quarters, not the core base of combat.
@@MegaManC4 Leave the fighting system of Arkham to Arkham and Spiderman, there's realistic logic to it. In Assassins Creed, no way I'm gonna believe soldiers stand there and wait around like idiots to attack an unamored assassin. And thanks to that combat system, there's no point in doing stealth at all BECAUSE YOU CAN SPAM COUNTER ALL THE TIME, apart from optional objectives and 100% synchronization.

Maybe it is compatible with improved AI but I hasn’t been solved yet. Jedi Fallen Order was close but not perfect. Ghost of Tsushima looks interesting as well imo. Appreciate your input though.

This is my all time favorite. I am now level 53 in The Curse Of The Pharaohs. If you don’t have the game, I highly recommend it.

Your stealth is good as always but I felt the gameplay lacks a bit variety. I mean you could use the environment to your advantage to make the kills different. Anyway good video as always!

I bought this game two weeks ago and I haven't been able stop playing it since. I must admit that I prejudge this game when it first came out. AC game location have always been in city's where you could run on rooftops and possibly spend most of your time there. But with Origins they made up for it by giving you more stuff to do. Also what outfit are you wearing

Game seems really good, just started playing it, but constantly running into random freezing. Using a 2080 as well, and it seems it used to be revert back to old drivers fixed it, or that they eventually fixed it with an update, but I assume the last update somehow did something again.
Ur rtx is the shit man. Origins is quiet good me now slowly finishing odyssey n yep grinding no buy whatsoever. Appreciate the vid dude and the love. Godspeed

You does a lot of things that I do like using charge attacks after getting their attention, stealth and bows. The only difference could be I almost never uses hunter bow when I have predator bow and I uses tools a lot more.

Hi I got this game and a 2080 super also. When I go underwater I have this weird flickering when I look at the sky or land at certain angles. Do you know a fix for this?

Acrobatic Improviser Yes I loved it too, but the thing is as a console player it would kinda be a pain in the ass holding down the right trigger to run around in a map bigger than Unity’s.
@@shogunboy2275 I'm sure that's something they could adjust for console players. It would be great if they could use Unity's traversal mechanics as a foundation and improve it for everyone to enjoy :]

Its nice being able to kill enemies with a bow unlike Odyssey. Maybe i'm doing something wrong but in Origins you can kill most enemies with a headshot, in Odyssey a headshot will do MAYBE 10% damage.

I can kill enemy with headshot in oddysey. Sometimes I hit one kill, sometimes not. But it is great playing origin and oddysey

The steam reviews for ACOrigin ACOdyssey are both above 85% and critic reviews are also high. I personally like both old and new AC games they're all cool and fun. It's just a matter of taste

If the majority agreed, these games wouldn't be successful. You can find Origins' sales record online. The game made a great amount of money and was a financial success for Ubisoft. No, it's not the OG AC2 - Black Flag, but these new titles certainly aren't bad.

1 hit Assassinations, More unique Hidden Blade kills including Double Assassination , more than 3 finishers for every weapon, throwable smoke Bombs like in Unity and this game could have been the best stealth game:(
Yep this game had potential but they refused the same animation where you either barge or you grab the neck and stab gets very old quickly I really miss the cool animations made me feel like a badass when I pulled of things like that even ac syndicate had the stylish double assassination and cool takedowns

This game was directly built in assassin's creed unity's engine, the pre alpha of origins has AC unity gameplay and parkour.

They should have stuck with that base I never feel like a badass in these games anymore like a stylish trained killer now it's just a guy who stabs people In the same exact place over and over and climbs like a robot no flare or style it's a shame because the world's are awesome but the gameplay feels very very basic
