Of course Flores is making up wild claims, it's very easy to prove the claims he made about being offered $100K to lose, $100K leaves an obvious paper trail easy to follow. As a Dolphins fan, I feared this was coming. I just wished they banned Ross instead of directly punishing and affecting the team. He basically just got a slap on the wrist while the team got screwed

So just to be clear, the NFL investigated an allegation that could potentially jeopardize millions of dollars in revenue per year from sports gambling. And fortunately, they were able to find it was unfounded - which protected the millions of dollars of sports gambling revenue they might have lost if they found the opposite?
That is super lucky. Good thing they did an honest investigation and still found everything was OK.
Its was so above board that they decided to penalize the Dolphins after finding it inconclusive

The owners of the NFL are an oligarchy. Do you honestly think they're going to punish the owner? If they want to punish a billionaire, you fine him all gross revenue for 2021, like 50 mil, not 1.3 m, which comes out to Ross not making any money for today only.
2nd Why punish the team and therefore the players? Give the draft picks back and hit Ross in the pocketbook.
The team would have benefitted from the tapping up of qb and HC, if anything it’s not enough draft capital, should be 1,2,3 this year and next and a ban on trading picks for 3 additional years (negated if he sells the team)

Cause there still has to be 256 guys drafted right? So how does the whole taking away the picks thing work? Cause if not then basically 2 people just got snubbed on a legit shot to make it in the NFL.
But a 1st and a 3rd is honestly extreme to me for this situation it does feel high level beef to me. I could see like a 4th and a 6th. But 1st and 3rd can literally be crucial to the talent and future of a team.
