How to Install your new tumble dryer vent hose

Correct installation of your tumble dryer vent hose, as well as regular maintenance, allows the effective extraction of air and keeps your dryer working at its best. In this video, we go over the right way of installing your dryer vent.
Only use the new metal hose supplied with your new product and discard the flexible hose from your previous appliance if applicable. The hose can be cut down to fit tighter spaces.

55 seconds on, video shows tube with a bend out the back of the dryer up to wall, then another bend at the wall. Written instructions state "the duct should be directed downwards to prevent warm moisture are from condensing in the dryer". This conflicts that. Of course if it was all plastic chances of condensation would be less....

But I don't have a "permanent vent fixing"...

It seems unlike other brand models available they don't want you to be placing a plastic tube out the door or window which was standard practice fir decades. What are Indesit/hotpoint thinking here?
