Mute all sure. But muting pings I feel like is not a good idea until you get in the game and see how your teammates use them.
Mute ping only mutes the sounds not the vissuals or in chat
I always give my team a chance with pings any sign of spamming for no reason just mute its as simple as that
both are bad, teammates are rng, you either get positive good ones who help you win or bad negatives ones who dont help
you cant choose who you play with, but you can choose who to mute so be smart about it
Higher Elo pings are used effectively.
Lower Elo pings are just overused.
Pings are also very distracting when you know what you need to do.
yeah dont mute pings, i need to be able to spam them on noobs without being banned :)

Don’t mute all pings... that’s a terrible idea. Pings are very useful when used right. Yes you’ll have people spam ping and not be useful at all but that’s why you have an option to mute a players ping.

what about the strange setting they added a few season ago, the "champion only toggle"?

@@trenza2566 It makes it to where you can only attack enemy champions, you cannot attack minions turrets blast plants honey fruits or anything that isn’t a champion, i use it all the time, I use it when ganking or in a fight in a lane and don’t want to target a minion or something. It’s also really good for tower diving so you don’t accidentally hit the tower while tanking it

Mute all is the most broken setting in LoL
Target champion only is also really op if you plan to tower dive or ur tryna hit the enemies between their minions.

Actually would rather mute my teammates and the enemy but leave pings open for communication
I can attest that muting chat has helped me climb nearly 7 divisions in 2 weeks.
The attack move click some time hit minions even when i use the " target champions only " how do i fix it

Dont mute chat in settings. Just type /mute all in game. If you mute chat in settings then u cant use the chat but if u type /mute all ur teammates can still see what u type

Mute pings you literally cant win. Sometimes teammates actually ping incoming ganks accurately. Another reason to add voice coms btw
There is no reason to use attack move click over attack move.
The former always prioritises the enemy closest to you which can be achieved by just doing the same thing with attack move but you get a better degree of control with it.
that's not actually true, i cant recall the exact setting but its possibly for attack move click to prioritize enemies closest to cursor just like attack move. ive been using it for a couple months with a lot of success
@@johonogon Yes its called something like "Attack Move Click on Cursor" and is in the "Game" section of the settings somewhere in the bottom right with a checkbox.
Its strange to me that some people dont know about that tbh.

wanted to use the auto attack click, but idk which key to bind it. Shift+normal attack button seems messy to use, i've seen you have used A; any other ideas to try?

Mute enemy emotes and /ignore (champ name) if youre like me that gets tilted when people spam taunt/joke/laugh/dance

Honestly, that's what I've been thinking. People who /mute all are people who get offended over the tiniest things in chat, and it also affects gameplay. I had a game where I believe my top laner muted all, and I typed in chat at least three times 'back off Kats coming'. He died. So annoying when teammates mute all
@@rayhuul mute all and reporting don't make sense. It should just be mute of your sensitive.

@@rayhuul you won't have that issue with people who know how to play correctly. it doesn't matter if chat is disabled as long as you have pings available.
i don't blame new/low lvl players for muting all. the community is turbo toxic which can be distracting and discouraging when they just want to learn.
